I was shooting last night. From 4.30 to 7.30 they decoyed regularly, then it slowed down dramatically, by 7 there were still a few flying back and forth but hardly any decoyed, by 8.30 they'd gone to roost (I assume).

I've come to the conclusion that I'm far more comfortable shooting in a stood position, I can shoot sat down but find it too limiting, even with a swivel seat. However, after a while standing I start to feel the need to take the weight off! So, is there an alternative that will allow me to lean back and lightly rest my weight in a similar way to a shooting stick/seat, half stood half sat or, does anyone use said stick/seat for pigeon shooting and find it useable ...or not?

We already did and they have. The Spanish economy makes ours look positively vibrant.

I had a few Capris culminating in a modded 2.8i, straight cut gearbox, locking diff, bored out to 3.2 and custom injectors and chip...dropped 2" all round and on adjustable gas struts. Bloody mods came in at more than the car, it did bloody go though and even went round corners.....relatively well! Also has a Vauxhall Firenza droop snoot, quirky old beast that was! Another early monstrosity I had a soft spot was the Austin Princess, now there's a classy motor!

As a confirmed carnivore, with the yang of that being I'm not a huge veg fan, that sounds like Hell on earth! Bolognese without pasta, curry without rice or a naan bread (I have one or the other), I could live with your daily diet although your lunch is impractical for anyone on the move all day, but the evening meal I'd have to do small portions rather than cut it out. Its a main constituent of the meal. I guess I wouldn't lose any weight then, and to be honest...I'll keep my food baby and enjoy my meals. This has been my problem with all diets/eating plans. The meals just aren't very tasty!

I use a Ridgeline Roar II jacket. Used for last years 'fowling and in some truly inclement weather it didn't leak. I like it but it's only had one season.
