You've got to love impromptu bassing! Especially when it works!

A1 decoys as a company I've found fine to deal with...but UKshootwarehouse better and IMO their gear is better quality.

Shoes won't stop the smell though and to be fair, if someone did come in, kick off their shoes and gas us, they'd soon be told! Just seems a bit extreme. If they're wearing sandals/flip flops it's ok but barefoot isn't?

Don't understand the problem to be honest. their feet are still likely to be cleaner than the soles of their footwear so whats the problem? Other than your foot phobia of course.

Agreed, the male singer does her no favours though. She is MUCH better than him.

...to be more precise, how aggressively can I abuse one? I am in the process of refurbing a couple of hammer guns, each throwing up their own particular challenges, but I moved onto the biggest 'problem' with one of them today, namely a detached rib. I took this on knowingly and in the knowledge of the fact that A/ It's only soldered on and B/ I'm a plumber, therefore I can do soldering ! That's the logic anyway! So, I clean everything up, wire it all down tight and heat the barrels, all appears to be going ok and after about 8" I decide to stop, clean it all up and check progress. One side fine, the other side not so, a large area where the solders not taken. Unsolder the rib again and establish that its down to the barrels not being clean enough. My fault completely, should know better etc etc. Now, the problem is that it's pitted in the area under where the rib would be, and while I can get the metal around the pitting gleaming I can't get into the pits. The obvious answer to me would be to go at it with a wire wheel, will this cause too much damage to the barrels though. I don't want to be left with scratching when it gets refinished. Oh, should add, not too concerned about the pitting itself to be honest. It's just been nitro proofed.

So, how much have you invested to gain your £10.70?

We regularly see Roe's on the farm, closest so far was about 30 metres away, wandering through a field of rape. I live in hope of a closer encounter though.

Out in the hide last weekend with my stepson and we'd watched a couple of hawks hunting the field in front with little success and one in particular had given the flapper a hard look. A couple of minutes later I noticed a shape moving fast, low across the stubbles. It came straight into the flapper but realised all was not right at the last moment and, just lifted over the top before flaring into a turn, quite literally flashing across the front of the hide no more than 4 feet away. We felt the air disturbance from its wings. The lad had been looking the wrong way and just turned in time to see the flash of wing in front of his face! He almost fell off his stool! Absolutely brilliant getting that close to a hunting, wild hawk.

Out of interest, in which scenario were you asking about the loaning? Obviously you can loan another SGC holder your shotgun, but how else other than at a clay ground or, on land you own/have shooting rights on? -
Lab doesn't seem to want to pick up duck etc

I won't use my dog on crows. Not prepared to risk her sight if it turns out to be less dead than it initially appears. I do have to say that I have never tried or seen anybody who has, I can't confirm it to be a definite risk, but, they do go for the eyes, and they do attack big lumbering oafs trying to pick them up, so I have no doubt they'll peck at the dog. -
Good to meet you today mate, hope it all goes well for you.. And that ladies and gentlemen concludes this particular offer for the foreseeable future, it is now covered with regular shooters, thanks.

I really like this too, maybe a bit of a cheat as it features Slash, even so... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reWKX3FJZUk

Didn't even know the little platform heeled squiggle even played, let alone that he played really rather well!

I believe he was deeply embedded on men many occasions!

Hendrix - All along the watchtower. Original inferior version by Bob Dylan. and a probably somewhat controversial one. Better than Soft Cell? I think so... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHxmCF88L04&feature=youtu.be Ok, why won't that embed?

No, he doesn't. Is 'miss spelt' the second most misspelled word? Edited for spelling mistake!

leagal to take a non sgc holder shooting
-Mongrel- replied to M.A.Gnun's topic in General Shooting Matters
I asked my FEO about this as one of my stepsons wanted to shoot. This is Sussex Police. I was told that if I own or rent the land then it's ok. If I only have permission to shoot then it is NOT alright as I am not the owner or occupier. If the farmer is present then it becomes above board again but he needs to be borrowing the farmers shotgun (crazy innit!). Long story short, he applied for his SGC and 12 days after the interview being booked he had it drop through the door. Problem solved for me.
