Just one pair? I'd want two at least, probably yellow for dull days and dark for sunny days. -

6 last night to the new AirArms 510, definitely what I'd call blooded. 4338 -

I tend to agree, with the insured and identifiable part anyway, at least for those users who wish to use public spaces. If you want to go mountain biking on private land then fair do's, but if you interact with the public, why not? -
Absolutely as long as you have permission or live in Scotland.

You probably could if it was that badly injured and obviously suffering mate, I would. Wouldn't be happy about it but, wouldn't wait maybe an hour or more for a vet to put it down with my dog in serious pain unnecessarily.

It's a North/South thing then! Southern trout prefer a decent size portion rather than a nouvelle cuisine-esque nibble!
-
While brandlings are lethal for Perch and Roach on occasion, I have had litle success with trout using them. A good, old, common or garden lobworm seems to be far more productive in my experience.

I was about to have a rant...but at least I've now discovered it's only a symprom of where I live and cyclists in general are sweet and lovely human beings elsewhere. I'm 6' tall, not lightly built...and I don't get anywhere near 16 stone! I'm betting your a big boned sorta guy. -
Don't get me wrong Luke, I wouldn't drain it, but I can change rads in an hour and have a wet vac and power flusher. But, for your average DIY'er...
-
To be sure of preventing spills, drain the system, make sure you open the air vents on the rads, air must get in to allow water out otherwise they vacuum. Close the air vents when the system is empty. Sheet off under the rad. SHUT OFF BOTH RADIATOR VALVES, then disconnect by undoing the lowest valve nut, the one on the pipework side rather than the rad side of the valve. Ease the rad off the pipe and stuff the rad valve hole with tissue paper (loo roll) to prevent drips. With the radiator now sealed you can take it outside to disassemble what you may want to re-use. If you have any rads that are fed from upstairs (normally fed by two pipes running down the wall) you will need to drain them separately. EDIT: Just read Lukes response which is almost the same as mine, however, if the water is filthy then I would drain the whole system. You'd be well advised to put a cleanser in when you refill, let it do its job, flush out and then refill with inhibitor.

I love an AirArms to the point that I've just bought a new S510 having bought and sold a BSA Ultra, a AA S400, a Daystate Mk3, a HW100 and an FX Verminator. I should never have sold the S400, it was genuinely pellet on pellet accurate. I didn't have any real issues with any of the others but they just didn't feel as good as the AirArms. One point I will make, I had more trouble getting good accuracy out of the one .22 I had (the Daystate), that wasn't down to the gun being inaccurate, it was my inability to accurately visualise say between 32 and 39 yards. Doesn't really matter too much in the flatter shooting .177 but made enough difference in .22 for me to be unhappy about it. I don't want to get into having to range every shot, and if being say 5 metres out on your judgement is critical it's an issue to me, as a result I've gone back to a .177 for hunting and can't see me straying again.

They will certainly help each other out. My lab was getting a pasting off an Alsatian only a week ago, aforementioned Alsatian got a bit of a surprise when 8 1/2 stone of ****** off Ridgeback X Mastiff came out of the wood at full tilt and just charged it with his chest before giving it a proper duffing! That's pack mates for you. All I could do was watch from a distance until I managed to close the gap and pull the big fella off, at which point the Alsatian made a sharp exit!

16 pages of Google later, and I have found absolutely no reference to me at all....
-
Is there an echo in here?

I always wear neoprene waders on the marsh so a wet bum isn't an issue. Have you had any trouble with the zip? This does seem to be the only weak point on the Eider.....I think the Jarret is discounted now, I can't find anyone who actually likes it!

It's a couple of shotguns and a brand new, never fired Air Arms S510 bunny basher for me! The unfired bit will be resolved tomorrow when i go and lead the barrel and zero a scope in...may possibly go for a mooch after....

...and that is a cracking Ling! One of the fish I've yet to catch....probabaly more time spent afloat would improve the odds! That 5lb'er is my best shore Bass, I've had bigger off the boat, but I'm really pleased with it. I've been struggling to get away from schoolies until now, hopefully that's a corner turned and the bigger fish will show a bit more! With the incoming weather pattern I suspect I may be back on the dawn raids wth the lures, and topping the morning off by chasing Mackies and Cuttlefish! That siad, it won't be long before we start to see proper squid again...so many choices, especially with some good mullet in the rivers, Cod just around the corner....

Unfortunately, this is where I'm at with the situation. Iif she's gone into a flooding river, she may well have moved a considerable distance. :(
-
Which do you use, which would you buy and why? I'm leaning toward the Eider as it seems to be more versatile...correct me if I'm wrong. Finally, the Kentdale could be thrown into the mix if people have good enough things to say about it?
-
Kinda....it belongs to a mate, but I said I'd try and get it going again. Will check the 'Gamo' thing, but it definitely didn't twang like a spring gun would.

Dunno about naughty, bloody funny!

'cos when it calms down it's Bass o'clock! 5lb 1oz taken off the Brighton shingle!

Before I pull it apart, is there anything that I can spray/pour into it that may revitalise it a bit? Long story short. It did wok, was left unused for over a year, and now has no pressure when cocked. The action of cocking it creates the pressure for the gas spring...or in this case doesn't! ideas please.
