While you are able to make a distinction between your shooting and some others, I don't believe that in the general publics eyes you'd be treated any differently. As far as most would be concerned, you shoot living animals and that's wrong, and WORSE, it's cute little Bambi's!!!! I wildfowl, it doesn't get any wilder than that, but there is no way that I could or would ty and distance myself from other ...less 'tasteful' forms of shooting. We all get enjoyment from the shooting experience, and most of us live shoot. I think you are delusional to think it makes you any better or worse than another shooter according to what they choose to shoot at. As said, if it's all about the venison, and not the shooting, then pack your guns away and find your local game dealer.

I'm assuming that with a release trigger the hammer doesn't drop until you let go of the trigger having already pulled it? That being the case, once you have pulled the trigger, other than firing it, is there a method of decocking it? If not, I can see where the concern might arise.

Harry, I recently had a major flare up of lower back pain which caused some sciatica. Both my doctor and osteo advised cold packs, no heat. I have proper medical packs (missus is a nurse), but was told that a bag of peas, wrapped in a tea towel would suffice. However, anti inflammatories were pushed equally as hard along with some heavyweight pain killers (Tramadol & Neurontin). I was taking the maximum advised dose of Ibuprofen and that worked wih me.

I've used Bisley Mags, very good and deadly, and AirArms Fields, very good and deadly....but in my guns, the AA's Fields have been a bit more accurate. The guns being AA's 400 and 510, Daystate Mk3, BSA Ultra, and Loguns S16, probably a couple of others but I can't remember exactly what I've shot through the others.

For once I'm in agreement with Kent. You have an opportunity to educate someone and maybe completely turn their opinion around. You said he asked about the dog, so explaining why the dog is so important on the odd occasion you do miss . Most people are quite open to chat about it but IME maybe don't get in to all the gory details.

Do a search Drone, it's been discussed in depth a few times now.

Plenty of sensible answers tearing the article apart now. -
So... was that famous last words then?

Well that blew that theory straight out of the water then didn't it! As for stirrup pumps, IN MY EXPERIENCE, so long as it has a drypack type system fitted to it then it should be fine albeit hard work. I've used both and never had any corrosion issues. I do tend to use a dive bottle now just to prevent coronoary episodes!

Hahahhaha, oooooh my sides, how DO you remain such a comic genius? I've had my fair share of sports bikes and others, and I can ride a bit. Riding for twenty years, done a lot of trackdays on a lot of tracks, run mid pack in the fast group but no, you're right, I know nothing and immature ridicule is the way forward. Mind you, having established your ride, all becomes clear. Having a C50 you don't have a clutch and therefore don't understand how/when you might use it, or not. -
It was a pretty common modification, but you're probably coser to the truth.

Nobody likes being woken!

Price and pics please.

My 301 (same gun really) would cycle anything from 24g upward.

Perfect! Top gun and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I have just asked the question of Sussex police, because it doesn't appear that there is an obvious online form. :(

Really nice lure rod and reel which I'd recommend to anyone. Indeed I'd buy it myself if I hadn't just bought a Hart Bloody 265 offshore.

Yeah, very grown up, don't usually get called Mong by people wih an IQ over 25 but that's me making more assumptions! As such a prolific shooter I am slightly disappointed that you don't realise that there are different regulations in different parts of the UK. You may be able to shoot wildfowl over stubbles with lead in Co. Antrim, but you can't in Carlisle or come to that anywhere else in England or Wales. It is as simple as, if you shoot wildfowl ANYWHERE in England and Wales, you must use non toxic.
-
It is relevant to the OP's question P~MX becasue he's shooting wildfowl, and living in Carlisle one assumes he's probably not shooting in Scotland where the rules differ, so it's safe to assume he would be using non toxic. It makes no difference whether he is shooting on the foreshore, on inland waters or over stubble fields, it is not legal to shoot wildfowl with lead. It may be news to you (which is of slight concern if you are an active hunter!) but Washwildfowler is giving the correct information and you aren't, so you might want to wind your neck in a few feet.

....but my older Beretta A303 would not cycle any less than 24g and it didn't like those much!
