Hi what did you have to do to have the comb raised.

Used it today, and to be fair it is a tad low for me but its a great piece of kit so will put my other guns away for a bit and just use the m70. A mate had a comb raiser fitted by a guy in north wales he made a nice job so would concider getting it done later on just see how it goes.Its worth the extra exspence to get the gun to fit as i got it for a good price.

Just picked up a miruko mk70 today second hand its in as new condition so looking forward to giving it a go tomorow, got it for a good price, fingers crossed it will serve me well.

regarding chokes for bettinsolis, beretta mobil chokes will fit i had an a303 semi and found they will interchange checked it out with my local gunsmith and he reckons its common,some gun makers make the guns to fit readily available chokes but be sure to check it out first with a gunsmith.

bettinsoli have been making guns for years, so they must be doing somthing right they have some in built niggles like all guns the rebound springs are quite strong and can lead to the odd miss fire i had mine changed to weaker ones and its been fine.

Returned from holiday last thursday, had a good time in work monday to be told sorry dont have any work, got to give you a weeks notice,worked for this muppet for fourteen months for two pound fifty an hour below the rate, i am a decorator so its that time of the year been ther before no doubt be there again just got to get on with life

Used my maxus on clays yesterday put over four boxes through it,after all the hassel i had with the first one i am starting to warm to it so i am going to leave my other guns in the box, and just stick with it.

It would be interesting to see what the cost to browning has been up to now for all these broken springs and replacement guns

This has been a problem with these guns, google browning maxus problems,a lot of unhappy owners,

I had a spring break rung browning,didnt want to speak to me all he kept on saying was go through your dealer

TO use the the hot towel method you need to remove the varnish,it lets the steam into the grain to lift the dent

I bought a maxus hunter in april by july it was back to browning the spring that sits in the fore end had broken and a piece had stuck between the piston and receiver and took chunks out of the metal, they replaced the whole gun but its somthing you dont expect after three months if you google browning maxus problems its an eye opener as far as i am concerned its still early days for this gun :unsure:

Try ebay i bought a brand new stock for a 391, you may be lucky and find one

The three hundreds had a leather spacer that sat in the front of the reciever these were meant to take up the slack, but if you were not aware they could just fallout, try to make a templet out of paper, old leather belt if its thin enough will do the job.

I only use my maxus on clays, mate of mine had some 67, 21 gram shells tried them out no problem tried 65 didnt like them so think its more then likly case size

Had a few over the years sold them off to fund my shooting 80 quid sounds about right providing its genuine there are plenty of repro ones about, if you hold the medal in the left hand you should be able to move the centre side to side, the repro,s are made in one piece
