  1. I don't understand why the cornermen couldn't see Witter was not doing enough. Telling him to carry on the way he was doing - I give up. Their probable advice - coast until the final bell and then throw your hands up and pretend you won. It worked enough times for Chris Eubank.
  2. Can someone explain how the decision came to be split? Only Witter's mother would have given him the verdict. The Ingles looked to have given up the cause in the corner before the last round. Their tactics found wanting yet again.
  3. Just watched the man with the large ego lose his title. Tim Bradley decked him and beat him far more easily than the split decision indicated. I don't know why Brendan Ingle's fighters - Witter, Naseem Hamed, Errol Graham - rely almost solely on evading punches so much. They seem to base their strategy around narrowly avoiding being hit, with no other defence. Ultimately this method has proved flawed as all have been caught on the chin.
  4. Long shot or not - I have a good mate in Glasgow who is "keen" to get a couple of tickets - along with a lot of other folk. Seriously - if anyone has any - holler.
  5. You can get a thicker butt pad or get one of the slip on type. Ebay has a shed load of them.
  6. If you buy new, you will immediately have lost money. Guns are not like cars. They last a lot longer. Buy a good secondhand one.
  7. For spares:- Chris Showler. He bought up all the factory spares when they closed down. http://www.doublegunshop.com/showler.htm He does export to UK.
  8. Don't do it. Big mistake.
  9. They are not top flight and for that money, he could do a whole lot better. There is a Bettinsoli on here. Better gun and cheaper.
  10. If it is mint nick - I would go to £500. If it is not as new, I would be hoping to get it for £350, but would go to £400. They are excellent guns, with no faults. Had quite a few. It might be worth more, but Skeet guns do not resell particularly well.
  11. http://www.gundeals.co.uk/NEW-SET-OF-BERET...auction_details This is set of three. You could e-mail and ask if he has singles.
  12. Well done Rangers. Top result.
  13. Whereabouts in Wales - North / South? Thanks.
  14. Depends where you live. In the North West there are stacks in Gunshops for less than £100. Get any that fit.
  15. It was £85 in the North West two years ago. I had a Browning 525 - brand new - done and it was excellent. The Gunsmith in question is very, very cheap, but don't expect it done the next day.
  16. It is a humbling experience reading what he said. Brave and modest. Top person.
  17. Bob300W - your post made me laugh. Walter Mitty springs to mind - I can't think why.
  18. He is not very photogenic on his picture on Ebay.

  20. Don't hold your breath for a speedy response. A mate has returned his auto to Beretta because the receiver finish started blistering. 4 months and counting. 9 months appears to be the best guess.
  21. Get your gun coverted to an adjustable stock - £85 in the North West. It will be cheaper and give you more re-sale value.
  22. You will be lucky to get a decent Beretta / Browning auto for £300. For an over and under - think £600, £500 if you are very lucky. Miroku are the same gun as Browning and are slightly cheaper.
