  1. I got a real buzz from reading that.
  2. Called Imove, I believe. I was told about Yumove by someone whose 3-year-old dog had been treated by the vet for 10 months and could only walk on 3 legs, but was walking normally within 2 weeks of starting the Yumove treatment.
  3. Just visited a well respected riflesmith who says assembled rounds and expanding bullets are separated on his F.A.C. There was another customer there at the the time and he said the same.
  4. Handy to keep the old paper one if you are going to France, I'm told.
  5. Do/would they make a 3-4 cartridge version?
  6. The point is that the FEO, whose decisions are safeguarding the public, would/should be happier to allow 300 assembled rounds + 1000 loose expanding heads to be kept, than allowing 1300 assembled rounds, as could be the result of just having one combined amount/limit. I have, in the past, been allowed to hold 1200 .223 and 1200 .308 rounds, so that I could buy batches of 1000 to get cases of the same batch for reloading.
  7. Some people have said that their loaded rounds limit is separated from their expanding bullets limit on their FAC, but no PW members, it seems.
  8. If there are that many, I suspect they are Rooks. Try slices of white bread instead of decoys, but keep out of sight, wear gloves and face net.
  9. That's the sort of answer I was asking for. I have no qualms about the number of loaded rounds being low, but when you go to shows only a couple of times a year, it's nice to be able to try the different bullets that might be available. Nice to have found out that 'Tipped' Match Kings are not classed as expanding, as opposed to Nosler Ballistic 'Tips'.
  10. Sounds like you were lucky enough to choose exactly the right powder and bullet first time.
  11. My question was about reloading, and your first reply was about amounts for .22 lr.
  12. I suspect most people would think you were very lucky to get away with one packet of bullets to arrive at your perfect round. It's not ALL to do with accuracy though. Different weights for different quary, especially in .308, might come into it.
  13. Never been checked on ranges. I think a lot of people will/must buy as many as they like and just hide them away.
  14. If you practise on the range with expanding bullets that you would use in the field, FMJ doesn't come into it.
  15. 300, that's the sort of answer I was after. Seems low, considering the various weights and types of bullets that might be used in working up loads.
