2. I'm toying with the idea of selling My 30" Manufrance Falcor, it is the fixed rib and standard stock height model rather than the less desirable adjustable rib with monte carlo stock, has a beautiful walnut stock with fantastic contrasting grain. The gun has just had a re-blue of the action along with a service in December 2022 and a stock re-finish, gun has not been shot since the service as the stock has been in for the re-finish and me not having the time to get out. Chokes are Improved Cylinder and 1/4 with 2 3/4" Chambers, a different alternative to a Beretta or Browning that is rarely seen, the gun has a sliding top latch lock up, similar to Krieghoff with a subtle boarder engraving, pictures are of the stock during re-finish, the action after being returned from service/re-blue and the gun in full prior to the work carried out, LOP is approximatly 14 3/4" Has a wide Rib with mid rib and white front bead, has been a fantastic gun and served me well on pigeons, game days and clay, is a wonderful all round gun I just don't have the time any more. Price is £1950 but I am open to offers, the case would not come with the gun, send me a message for any more pictures, Can RFD Transfer if needed.

5. £50 Nice 12 Bore Double Barrel Double Trigger SXS Laurona (or swap) Boxlock non-ejector Location: Hampton: (London/Surrey Border) Really tight action, feels like its hardly been opened. 28in Nitro barrels. 2.75 Chambers. 14in LOP. 1/4 and 1/2 choke. 7. Hi all, this is my first post on the forum. I currently shoot a semi auto on clays but would love to go back to a over and under. I only want to spend around £500 on a over and under 12 bore. Ive been reading up on ATA's and can't find a bad review online. However, I have noticed theres not many available second hand and wondered what their longevity is like. I can't tell if its a good thing or not that theres not many available that are used. Anyone got one or any experiences they can share? Any recommendations on anything better for the money? Thanks all!!
8. Hi guys I am looking for wad punches in 8, 10 and 12 bore to produce some over powder and overshot cards, save keep buying them. Anyone have any they don’t need and prepared to sell? thanks
9. Hi everyone. I took my dad shooting yesterday. it was his first shoot in around 30 years. he was a keen shooter up until the late 80s. I took over his gun last summer and have got into the sport my self in a big way. I have a semi auto browning and his old Franchi 400. All is well and good with the guns for my use. The problem is he has now started taking an interest in shooting again. But has sever arthritis in his wrists and hand and the recoil is making it near unboreable for him to shoot. I want to get him a gun that he might be able to work with something he can use and shoot without being in pain and giving up on the idea of going out again. Many thanks
10. After recently starting a thread in regards to an ATA O/U I went to look at one and really liked it. However, I have since been looking at older Mirk's as well, for the same price as the ATA (around £550) I could buy an older fixed choke Miroku 6000 or Miroku 3800 for my £550 budget. Would I be better buying the tried and tested Mirokus which will hold there value better come re sale, or do I buy the ATA, a brand new gun with warranty? Both Mirokus are choked similarly at 1/4 3/4! Before I used to shoot a Hatsan Semi Auto mixed choke but always used the 1/4 choke, I fancied a change so have sold it on. What would you do and why? And any advice on buying second hand Mirokus? What should I look out for?

12. After seven years I finally got around to reviewing my Browning B525 Game, I hope you find it useful
13. I'm doing a bit of double gun loading , so need to speed up my performance, has anyone got one of those Sinclairs loadmaster, or Gannochy loader, or something similar, reasonably priced, cash waiting thanks.
14. Right guys so I had my interview 2 days ago and got my license today, bloody speedy service! Now, one thing I asked for was a shotgun for practical, I always wrote down shotgun slug cartrdiges. Its probably the only thing he asked about, and I explained how its commonly used in practical. Now far as I am aware the whole interview went excellent and we had a crack on. Now when I look on my license it says under ammunition 12 Bore - 800. I did put 800 like a tool even though I have a SGC >.< So the question is, am I able to purchase slugs then or would it actually say slug cartridges on license? Anyone here actually have them on their license?
15. Hello Chaps. I am a relative newbie in the world of Clay Pigeon Shooting, and I am well and truly enjoying my new found hobby. I acquired my shotgun certificate on the day I finished work before Christmas. When I first started the application process on the 10th October 2015 I sorted my photographs and filled my forms in and sent them off via recorded delivery. I then booked and had a shotgun safety and shooting lesson of 50 clays from my good friend John at Rixton and Astley Shooting Club who goes under the Pigeon Watch username "Webber" I would highly recommend this to a new shooter because as a BASC Shotgun Coach, webber will show you everything from which cartridge is recommended for shooting clays all the way down to the smallest details in safety and gun care in a nice and calm relaxed atmosphere, after I had completed the lesson, I was presented with a hand signed certificate of completion from webber. I then purchased my cabinet online and firmly installed it and then waited for the phone call from my FEO. The phone call came from my FEO on the 24th of November and he booked an interview for the next day! He came around and had a brew and a chat with me about general shooting matters, asking me how I got into the sport and general safety questions, he was really helpful and advised me on how to transport my shotgun and etiquette about gun ownership. He then asked me about my experience of gun handling, I then produced my certificate from Rixton and Astley Shooting Club, with which he was very impressed as the main points of gun handling is listed on the certificate and practiced on the lesson. He then inspected my gun cabinet. He was impressed that I had bought the more expensive five deadlock Brattonsound cabinet for extra security. after another brew and a chat he left in good spirits and told me it would be around eight weeks for the certificate to come through. Over the next few weeks I got all of my insurance with BASC sorted and began buying bits and bobs for my kit like certificate holder, ear plugs and glasses etc. I then woke up on the 18th December and there was my shotgun certificate sitting on the mat! I got straight onto webber and told him I would be bobbing up to his shop the following weekend. The following weekend I went to Norgas Cartridge Company in St Helens where I had an extensive choice of guns that where personally recommended by webber for my purpose of shooting clay pigeons. it's always the best to take the advice of a professional shooter like webber and not to jump straight in and buy the first gun that takes your eye. as you can buy a gun that will not fit you and be completely impractical for your purpose. You really need to think about the practicality of what the gun will be used for. webber then tried each gun in my shoulder and checked my eye level with the rib and we narrowed my choice down to two cracking guns. I decided to go with a Baikal Model 27 in 12 bore which fit me perfectly with a rubber stock extension. which he threw in for free with the kit I was buying! if that's not top notch customer service I don't know what is! I then had a very good christmas and eagerly awaited the boxing day shoot at Rixton and Astley and webber's birthday! I got there late because I am a lazy sod and slept in til 12PM I did manage to get a round of 25 clays in on the practice stand though in which I hit 13/25 with my new gun. Using Clever Mirage 7 1/2 28G cartridges, it's fair to say I went home buzzing! When applying for a shotgun certificate my advice as a newbie if you are local to Widnes/St Helens would be to take a lesson with webber to understand the aspects of gun safety and handling, and take the advice like I did of someone like webber who knows what they are doing and not jump in head first. All in all it took 69 days from sending the forms off, to having my certificate in my hands. Cheers to Webber for all of your help and advice! If you shoot at Rixton and Astley, I will see you there!
16. Just in case someone has something looking forlorn in the Cabinet. I'm looking for an good quality over under gun 12 bore ejector gun with 30 inch barrels, the gun could just be a barreled action or a gun that has a damaged, ugly or broken or even completely missing stock. The action and barrels must be in reasonably good condition but woodwork is completely unimportant. Would prefer something with multi chokes or 3/4 and full choke, Shot in the dark but its worth an ask. PM me if you might have a suitable candidate.

21. Hi, I'm having trouble finding out anything about a shotgun a friend owns in South Africa. It is a side by side 12 bore double trigger hammer gun, fairly old and battered (he uses it to shoot Warthogs in the bush) with the usual proof marks on barrel and action but no makers name anywhere, although it does look like there is a "Made In Belgium" on the underneath of the barrels! He asked me to find out what I could about it on my return home to the UK, and I told him not to use it anymore as it is very loose because the locking cross bolt is missing, his answer was "I've been shooting it like that for years!"........Africaans?? The Flickr link has 9 other photos of medium resolution (I have higher resolution if needed) and any help would be most appreciated. Many thanks in advance, Dave http://www.flickr.co.../in/photostream
