  1. Enjoyed the company at Llandegla on sunday and saw some great shooting at times (not mine I hasten to add). Beretta shot brilliantly at times.....he's gonna win something this year if he keeps shooting like that, Chard was also shooting nicely with new gun down stylee and some good shooting at times from Anni, Nicky T and Mr Potter. Pleasure to shoot with you for the first time Mr P. It was a great group to shoot with and hopefully next time I can do myself justice. Nice shooting to all who had a blast this weekend.
  2. I'm currently with Orange but will be going to o2 when my contract is up, they are by far the best up here now.
  3. Barry White Fm for me (otherwise known as Smooth Radio). It's the future.
  4. I had an outbreak of red mite a couple of years ago with my hens and tried allsorts and in the end the only thing that killed them off was when I creosoted the cabin (proper creosote) inside and out. No problems since touch wood.
  5. You can't give up Paul, just think of all those female hearts you'll break when they can't see your mugshot in Pull magazine anymore.
  6. I shoot the Little Devils from proper cartridges and think they are brill. I don't have much experience with many different carts to be fair but they break clays every bit as well as the Eley Superbs I used before them. They are a decent price, low recoil and seem pretty clean through my barrels. Nicky T has shot a lot more of them than me and also loves them and Beretta has more experience than most and also rates them.
  7. Sounds like a good day Chard. You'll be showing us your silky gun down skills tomorrow at Llandegla the 4th.
  8. I'll donate my van with driver to be used as the getaway /hijack vehicle.
  9. Thanks Rob. Yeah it was a cracking ground, even more so with the sunshine. The ponds at the bottom looked stunning.....if I'd had a rod in the car I would've been tempted to throw a fly in.
  10. Cracking shooting Jay. And dad as well. 62 for me at Shugborough today, missed a number of birds with poor concentration and a few silly tricks but another new ground and an enjoyable day. Beretta shot 89 in the end In think and we saw Mr Potter there who had also put a decent score in. Nice shooting chaps.
  11. Nice shooting all. :( I must try Lupton sometime soon, it's only 20 minutes up the road from me.
  12. Well shot all today, particularly Mr P....good arrows that man. Shot Kingsley with Nicky T today and shot a very average 60, felt again I should have had a good few more. Seemed to find the clays on the first couple of birds on a stand and then lose them again. I had some good and stands some bad. Company was good and we stayed pretty much dry though. Next weekend will be better. Timps what's this secret with the minis/midis..........come on share and share alike....every little helps.
  13. Just seen your post Auntie, very well shot.
  14. Nice shooting Nick, glad it went well.
  15. Thanks Rich, I should have had a few more on the first few stands but next time eh. I thought Mike was the secret A class shooter sandbagging in C (with his 97 ), but apparently he's been outsandbagged now looking at some of the scores. Hopefully Nick and Auntie will get it done today.

I here Morecombe is stunning this time of year.
  17. Nice shooting chaps , stonking layout wasn't it. Most difficult setup I've shot to date (including Llandegla the first ). Looking forward to another blat on sunday, albeit an easier shoot I hope. Well done today and good luck tomorrow Nick/Auntie and co.
  18. I'm in Lancashire Su. Recently hatched some silver partridge and gold partridge pekins and they are stunning also.
  19. Years ago we used to have an old sheep dog at home, he was a working dog so was covered in cow muck fairly regularly. As he got older he got more and more grumbly to the point we couldn't clean him as he'd try and nip you if you did, so when the vet came out to see to see to other stock they used to give him a bit of an injection to make him sleepy. At this point he had his muck buttons (well stuck on cow poo ) snipped off. He always ended up looking like a right mincer with his back end shorn and his front legs and shoulders untouched. A bit like doggy body-builder. You had to be there but it was bloody funny. Those dogs reminded me a bit of him.
  20. They look well matey, if I was a bit nearer I would take that cockerel. Have you seen the price of chocolate orps now..... just for hatching eggs.
  21. Bet it costs you a flaming fortune filling Jay up. Chippy tea night here varies but as I'm sophisticated and that, my usual is steak and kidney pudding, large chips, mushy peas and curry sauce.
