  1. Gay sex bumper stickers.....I'll show the cheeky b@s tards.
  2. If it's 25 acres then I'd ring a few local farmers. If someone had rung us and offered a field a field I could mow and bale for myself, but leave a few acres worth of bales for the owner......I'd have jumped at it. A lot of farmers will have a mower even if they have contractors make bales for them. A lot will have an old pickup baler led around that they still turn a few bales out with. If it works out you could come to a regular arrangement as you could get several cuts off it every summer.
  3. Anyone ever find out who Anni's mate with the zip tie was?
  4. It must have been his wind instrument cos you'd been shooting like a demon all morning til he let rip. To quote one of your sayings; 'laarf.....he nearly ####'.
  5. Great day out despite the weather and witnessed some cracking shooting in our group at times, from North and South. Funniest moment of the day was when one of the group in front was in the stand ready to shoot and shouted 'PULL'.........at which point one of the southern gents proceeded to f@ rt loudly enough that our whole squad was in stitches. Top day despite the weather and felt like I learned lots watching experienced shooters.
  6. Elvis are you by any chance shooting the North South shindig....cos that's a belting excuse you just got in there.
  7. Good stuff Chard, glad you had a good day. You'll be smokin em saturday.
  8. Thanks to a bit of good fortune I have for sale 2 very lightly used Teague Invector plus chokes to fit Miroku MK38 Sporter. They are both 1/4 chokes. Price new is £31.79.....buyer can have them both for £30.
  9. North by 60 for me (also got Nicky T's stake).
  10. I could get you a recording of my mother in law, I find that irritating regularly so I'm sure it would work with dogs.

    Papal visit

I'm not religious or anti-religious, I really don't give a toss whether people believe or don't. What I resent is the fact that we as taxpayers foot the bill for something like this. And thinking about it I would feel the same way even if our economy was soaring, instead of cartwheeling off into the distance. If it's an important religious issue then religion (the church) should find a way of paying for it. No problem at all with that.
  12. Always fancied myself as a postie.

How the chuff this type of thing happens given our current financial situation is beyond me. Go on lads sling taxes up a bit further so we can all give a bit more hard earned sterling, but give the big cheese in the white coat a bloody good holiday. Sweet Jesus (no pun intended). Our coalition 'fresh start' government should put their 'feet' down and say ' OI BENEDICT, NOOO'. Tis madness.
  14. Jesus H Christ Mungler.......£250 an hour. What do you do.......male escort? I need a career change.
  15. Struggle with this myself at times, and it's much worse the last 18 months. People get work done so clearly have the money, they just don't seem to want to part with it when it comes time to pay the piper. Even work done as a subcontractor seems to take forever to get paid........which is the same problem....main contractor is struggling to get paid from customers so everyone has to wait.
  16. Has the hen just reached point of lay? I've had them do this just as they start to get age enough to lay eggs. Otherwise maybe try some different grit; personally I always crush up my old shells and put them back out for the hens as grit.......but then I'm too tight to actually buy any grit. For some reason she might not like the oyster grit, though I've not seen a problem with that myself.
  17. Shot at Kingsley today with Nicky T and Ainsley and was a decent layout but sweltering heat. Steady really, I struggled a bit to be honest and seemed to end up with 63, god knows how as it felt like I was going to struggle to break 50. My numbers said 61 but one stand had two extra ticks that the marker had missed , so it should be 63 when the scores go out. Saw loads of other pigeonwatchers......thought Ainsley shot really nicely; especially given it was his first comp. Nice to see Jay using a 12 bore now and straighting stands. Got some top advice from Jim on foxing the competition by changing the coloured bands on his chokes.
  18. Belting tractor the 5000. :o Used it as a scraper tractor, owed us nothing when it was sold.
  19. Must be better class of contractor down sarf. :o :o
  20. Did loads of contracting when I was younger and the money was decent but nobody around here making a fortune. We spent years and a small fortune at home keeping old machinery going before getting in contactors for silowing. It's money well spent.
  21. Everyone round here either mowing or chopping this weekend. Local contractors are flat out.
  22. And pink. What is it wi all these blokes that wear pink. I mean....PINK FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. It's just not bloody cricket. :o

Have blackrocks and they are good layers, sussex also. I actually have some pekins (bantams) at minute and they are prooving to lay extremely well......farbetter than I thought they would.
  24. Men shouldn't wear flip flops for cryin out loud.....bloody jessie wellies we call em up here. And socks at all times with footwear with shorts....not those weird trainer sock things...proper pull up socks. Flip flops bejesus.
