Pet supermarket are good value on the petsafe range. The venture is a good quality products which start with a low levelshock (I tried it on myself first)!

Have you tried standing on the edge of the water so they don't get time to shake before taking the retrieve? If that works start to slowly build up the distance.

Quest are also spot on. Tennis balls are good for pups and a whistle on a lanyard.

I was in my in laws in South Devon last year and saw 2 in 2 days.......one flying in through the window.

He'll be very happy in there mate

Nevilles at Alfreton are great, or Melbourne tackle and gun. If equipment/clothing etc AA decoys are really good.

Just checked on A1, £17.50 for a 7 amp hour battery on its own.

The 14 is about £80 depending if you go for a waist belt or shoulder pack.

I'm looking to buy a Lightforce 140 and wondered what is the best value for money battery pack? A1 decoys do a 12v 7 amp hour battery with charger, bag etc for £30. Is 7 amp hour enough or do I fork out the extra for a 10/14 amp hour kit from deben? Any recommendations of where to get one from would be gratefully received. Thanks

Another vote for nevilles at Alfreton and Melbourne Tackle and gun.

I love my CZ455 but I had a 452 2E and that was really good too!

Labrador spiinning on memory retrieves

This sounds like a confidence issue as you have said when its close or the dog can see it, it does not spin. I think (and others with more experiance may disagree) you should take it back a step and re build the confidence gradually extending distances. I don't think a change in tactics will stop this, it will be a gradual process.
