  2. Hi crofty , if you are of small build the brocock is ideal but if large build the s400 is a better bet i personslly would go for the s400 though single shot Rowan Eng do a multisho conversion for them though manually indexed it works well i had a s400 .177 with the rowan kit fitted and it worked well imo the s400 is a better gun. regds brian
  3. Hi Fakement YHPM re the bottle regds Brian
  4. Well done Nobby all comes to those who try, i had a phone call at 20-30 tonight a lady has 0ver an acre of paddocks at back of her house rabbit, pigeons ,tree rats to be dealt with the nice thing is i have 3 acres to the left of her land and .75 of an acre opposite her house seems i have done a good job so far it sure brings results. i now have 13 shoots the largest 230 acre farm and lots of 1----15 acres a shoot is a shoot i find if you do a good job it leads to more land , by the way i am single so don,t have problems with the time i spend shooting, good luck nobby with the new shoot atb brian

  8. Flathead Pellets are only accurate over short distances, normal dome headed pellets are the best for accurate bunny bashing, placed in the kill zone they do the job, its the same about calibres it does not matter the size of the pellet , its accuracy that counts every time. rgds brian
  9. The Nd-3 is not a laser its basicaly a very pricey green torch my friend Phil, field tested one for the large gunshop where he is the airgun specialist his view of the Nd-3 its cr-p , spend your money on a good lamp or tactical torches now available. regds brian
  10. Well done nobby, its hard to beat fresh meat straight from the field, good luck and happy shooting . atb Brian
  11. Hi Corvid, i use fac air where i cannot use my rimfires because of land layout i use a rapid.20 at 24fpe for most shooting and a .25 rapid at 48 fpe this uses 31grn pellets and is regulated giving 55 full power shots, both guns are very accurate and hit hard, regards brian

    Nd 3

Pls do not waste £300-00 , buy a decent gun lamp and save your money this Nd-3 is nothing more than a green torch it is not an alternative to NV i should know i have GEN-1 & Gen- 2 NV scopes. regds brian
  15. Hi Ellebarto, i use the N55o pulsar nv scope on my 22lr rimfire it works very well i can see with the N1000 ir laser bunnies out to 100yds + though my shooting range is from 30------90 yds, i also use a n550 pulsar on my fac .177 airgun for large garden and paddocks where i cannot use a rimfire the pulsar is an excellent piece of gear and works well for me. atb brian
  16. Hi Northeast, the benifits are rabbits feed mainly at night lamping works for a while, but night vision works better , if you buy a night vision addon monocular such as the Cobra /merlin this fits on the back of your normal day scope and does not tie up your gun there are a couple for sale on here the best scope for this would be the MTC Mamba Lite , ifr you need any info pls pm me. regds brian
  17. Hi gooseman, You have pm ref the lithium pack. regds Brian
  18. Hi Nobbie ,where are you in the country? you have unfortunately discovered how hard it is to get permissions you just have to keep plugging away , i got most of my permissions by a simple add in my parish magazine offering free pest control and got x5 new permissions in the first week. i now have x9 which i visit in rotation. regds Brian
  19. Hi Blueboy, YHPM ref the Ranger, i will have this pls regds Brian.
  20. Its accuracy that counts not the calibre, or the power levels, hit the kill zone= dead prey i shoot all the calibres consistant accuracy is the goal. regards Brian
  21. Hi Mat i have owned bsa ultras in s/s and multi shot , never had any problems with them i currently own a ultra multi shot in .177 and its an excellent gun , accurate, very good for shooting feral pigeons in barns, you can increase the shot count by having it regged , go for it . regds brian
  22. Great shooting Si-bore , having done long distance shooting when younger i appreciate the skill needed. And for once I find myself in agreement with Ackley/Pete but Pete pls don,t do another BBs on here as we don,t want you banned off all forums as all that expert knowledge and experience would be wasted. Si carry on mate forget the whingers. atb brian
  23. On woodies a head shot is best,if side on under the wing folds , or if the woodie has its back to you between its shoulder blades all these shots i find flattens them, mind you i use a fac .177 at 22fpe amd bis pest control pellets these really stops them. atb brian
