  15. Hi benisbob ,before you go out shooting live prey you need to be able to hit a ten pence sixed target at 30 yds repeatedly, because that is the size of a rabbits brain and you need to head shoot them only ,also because your gun is co-2 the power drops with the temperature so is not really ideal for night time use. airguns using compressed air or spring guns are much better IMHO. regds brian
  16. and the calibre is???!!!!!! regds brian
  17. Night Vision is the way to go, Geofferey at Nightvisiosupplies---07958392392 does a digital NV addon that fits on the back of your scope at a very reasonable price of £399--00 inc of a DSA, this with a good laser ir Illuminator will spot rabbits out to 200+ yds, and is cost effective as you only need to use the one gun, atb brian ps i am just a satisfied customer of nightvisionsupplies.
  18. Hi. i parsons try the 3x9x50 scope from JSR low cost but good quality, just google JSR regds Brian
  19. Hi jonny it depends on what the power output is 24---26fpe is a good level . above that the recoili s very sharp ,you need a gentle grip on the gun and do this consistantly will result in greater accuracy, do not grip the gun like it might fall to pieces but just support it and try not to tense your body on the follow through, its like riding a bike practise will get you accurate, as these guns in practised hands are deadly hunters, good luck ,atb brian
  20. I usex3 fac air all theoben rapids a.25 @48fpe& a.22 @40fpe and my NVGun.20@26fpe with a N550 pulsar digi scope. Fac air is useful to me because i have shoots where i cannot use my rimfire .22LR & .17HMR because of land layout of all my guns i enjoy using the airguns the most fac and sub 12fpe, i would advise a .22 Rapid @30fpe would be ideal for ranges out and beyond 50 yds depending on your ability , atb brian
  21. i have aN550 pulsar digi nv scope with a n1000 ir llaser illuminator on my fac rapid .20 @26fpe and a Nv digi addon from nightvision supplies From Geofferey /Baldie on the Airgun Bbs which goes on the back of my 22LR , and for ratting a yukon 3x60 sentinel nv scope. atb brian
  22. i use 3x12x44 swat scopes on my ultra,s and x2 verrminators and they are 1st class scopes the optics are excellent and work well in all conditions , using these scopes also enable a nv addon to be used ,, very useful when ratting wintertime. atb brian
