  1. Thanks for the offer, think I'm going to need a lesson first though. Went to Malmo guns yesterday to have a look around, come away with a shooting vest. No gun as yet though, got to save up and pay for the holiday first.
  2. I was stood on the drive when it passed over last night, never seen anything like it before, thought it was space debris at first. It passed north to south, going at a fair lick and was high in the sky.
  3. Sorry to hear the news your wife has cancer Dave. I know what you are going through, I went through it 12 years ago when my wife was told she had cancer. Twelve years on, all is good, she is still with us and has yearly check ups. Hope you wife makes a recovery and pulls through, just be there for her when she needs you.
  4. Cheers Trowel, well the SGC dropped through the door yesterday. Now I can officially buy one or two maybe . Just got to save up the readies
  5. Thanks for the replys, might be better for the son-in-law to have a few lessons first.
  6. Another similar question, can you take someone clay shooting who has not got a SGC and let them use your shotgun under your supervision?
  7. I use the AA 510 for both pigeons and rabbits with a personal set max range of about 40 yards, like the lever action instead of the bolt.

  9. He did'nt want a brew, well what a nice FEO man , he checked a few things and asked some questions, cabinet was fine where I had fitted it. No problem he said, certificate should come through the post in a couple of weeks. 8) 8) 8)
  10. Well the FEO rang today, my visit is next Tuesday
  11. This thread brings back memories, have to admit to owning an Airfix Flight Deck and a Johnny 7.
  12. Can it curtsey and fly backwards
  13. I started last September, again , was at 22 stone 5 lbs, lost 35 lbs up until xmas, now back at 20 stone 7 lbs . Trying to lose again, not easy as I work shifts. Have tried for years to lose the weight, up and down like a yoyo, but never under 19 stone .
  14. They all gave us 6 months, me being a toy boy and the third husband. This year will be our 29th wedding anniversary and 30 years together.
  15. The breast implants used for medical reasons might well be saline solution ones. I know my wife had a saline one fitted when she had a reconstruction following a breast removal because of cancer. I don't think these ones need removing.
  16. Cheap as chips as the bronze one would say, love my 510 carbine
  17. Fitted my cabinet to thermalite block with studs and a chemical resin fix. Left it 24 hrs to harden, no issues with tightening the nuts after that.
  18. There's a ground at Toplands Farm Woodplumpton, think they only do Sundays though. http://www.toplandsclayshoot.co.uk/Home.html
