  1. You are correct in thinking that waxoil is rubbish. Its messy, runs off in summer and makes working underneath a nightmare. Dinitrol very good but you need to use 3125 first then go over with 4941/car to give a tough finish. It will work out quite expensive as there are so many places to put 3125 such as inside the sills, all the wheel arches, around fuel tank, behind front wings and all the floor pan and chassis. You will probably need half a dozen. If you don't mind alot of preparation to the vehicle the epoxy primer or por-15 are the best coatings to use, but not always suitable do to time and effort needed to prepare.
  2. I dumped yellow pages and yell.com years ago, best thing we did as it's so expensive
  3. I got mine from simplyled on website. Their bulbs are a straight swap and no need to change transformer.
  4. Had no choice but to notify my insurance as other person who hit my car had lot of damage, and he took my vehicle details at scene. So they had my registration number to give to his insurance.
  5. Fourtrak just turned 400,000 on original engine and still not using a drop of oil or water, wish they built such simple to work on cars like it, no ecu hardly any sensors to break, mechanical pumps.
  6. Or throttle position sensor by the acceleration pedalet probably got muck and grit in it.
  7. Sounds a bit like the freemasons, could be very costly when a fellow is on hard times and your asked to donate, and virtually impossible to get out of.
  8. It's all very well having a spray to neutralise the smell, but when dogs go out for last pee before bed, I'm not going around the garden at that time with a sprayer to get the exact spot.
  9. I think the dulux from trade centre is a thicker mix with stronger pigments so can be watered down alot more than dulux from elsewhere.
  10. Just put a door from yours to annex, it's then an extension, that's what I did when I had the same problem, then just put bookcase over door.
  11. In January some plonker drove into my stationary fourtrak in a supermarket carparts. He did no damage to my car so I didn't claim, I just notified my insurance as per the terms of the agreement. He caused £1200 of damage to his honda, and cctv showed it was him to blame and take liability. Just had my insurance renewal through and it's gone up £200 due to him driving into me. Been on comparison websites and all gone up, peeved is an understatement at the moment. I didn't even claim, so is this the norm?
  12. When I had artificial grass I used to disinfect twice a week, but it's hard to know exactly where there urine is and you can't follow the dog around with a watering can everytime it goes out. And nothing completely got rid of the urine smell especially when weather warmed up, unless you loved the smell of strong disinfectant or jeyes fluid in the air. It could be that the sand underneath was holding the urine that was the problem, as if it was grass the soil breaks it down naturally.
  13. Dig in loads of sharp sand into soil before re seeding to help drainage and compaction
  14. I find as mentioned before keep it longer when cutting. I cut it around inch and half and use a good rye mix
  15. Unless it's laid perfectly the sand underneath can go lumpy, the green colouring does fade a bit and transfers to the carpet when wet when dogs come. The edges need pinning down securely or the first decent wind lifts it, and if you do have dogs it can really stink of **** in the summer as not absorbant as grass. If dog has squits you can wash in but the sand brushed in gets disturbed and the chunky bits take months to dissappear. I wouldn't have it again I've gone back to grass and everything washes, rots or grows out. But if I didn't have dogs then maybe I'd reconsider as it looked good and no maintenance really.
  16. Same here for Wrexham, boiler long over due a service
  17. It can dry out the seals on some cars, mainly on the intake side, hopefully and bit of Internet search will reveal which cars are affected.
  18. Try looking under footwells and under front seats incase a stray foot has knocked a connection to seat belt pretensioner or airbags in seats.
  19. So you think the millions of extra people over the last few years have had no impact on energy and public services being stretched. Its obvious! You must live somewhere very sheltered. I don't want to get this topic closed down, or go off course to far. You just live in your bubble and hope for the best.
  20. Because it's true, to many new builds taking up precious land, nhs stretched to breaking, schools are the same, electricity black outs, now gas in short supply. Were a small island with a hell of alot of people living on it.
  21. All because there's to many people flooding into our small country and we just don't have the resources anymore.
  22. Signed, all this forced halal meat sneaking around really grinds my gears.
  23. Just doing my shotgun and fac renewal, but there is no mention of my referees needing to sign the back of the photos. I've read the form thoroughly, so have the rules changed or am missing something.
  24. Brilliant stuff, but prep has to be perfect or it fails quickly.
  25. Don't worry, as other driver admitted liability then whiplash, loss of earnings, nightmares, flashbacks, sore back compensation payout from a no win no fee company will buy her a lovely new car.
