  1. I've had a 2005 primastar put well over 100,000 and not a problem. Been a great van. Would definitely get another
  2. It is fantastic stuff and works well and stops rust for good. But the prep is hard and needs to be applied properly or its just a waste of money. Can't see some one stripping every square mm of underneath of car to apply por15.

    Soda Blasting

If it's wood a soda blaster will destroy it and open up the grain. Your options are chemical or a big tub of elbow grease and some sandpaper. Just two chemicals I mentioned will be fine and easily strip back to wood for you in one application just brush it on thick

    Soda Blasting

Just brush it on both the chemicals are 5 litres each and thick. The combination of the two is amazing strength. Nothing like any diy stuff. Are they metal or wood

    Soda Blasting

Not really possible to hire, due to the massive 3phase compressor needed to run a soda blaster. Any home compressor wont be much good at all unless you can link some air tanks together but still need around 40cfm to do anything half decent. What is it you want to blast. As if it's small get some starchem paint stripper and mix with dichloromethane is will strip stuffin seconds.
  6. They do make a blooming mess in the garden though digging up all the wood chippings and kicking soil all over the place. They eat all me strawberrys and other fruits. I wouldn't feel to bad there's times when I'd put them on the licence the mess they make.
  7. Along with the cracks in the bag due to lack of use. And the ride height sensors failing and the air line corroded or the ecu that manages the ride height failing due to a car cleaner steam cleaning the interior and the compressor is an easy fix provided landrover sell the same make as it's replacing and reprogramming ecu is a mare of a job.
  8. Keys losing codes, radio displays losing pixels, turbos on the diesel, injectors blocked, air suspension, some are starting to rot in very odd places, dpf around 2008 can be costly, make sure auto box been serviced or that can be costly. They can eat diff mount bushes mainly at back. And check all the wiring looks untampered with under bonnet as some previous may have had electrical gremlins. They are a lovely car though when there working. If you can afford to run the petrol models they are generally cheaper to buy and more reliable.
  9. They've been brain washed by their lefty teachers.
  10. What about the two blondes together!
  11. From memory 15 to 22mpg as the gearing was low when driving around
  12. Think you need to portray the seriousness of this to your neighbour. And ask her to call a builder or other qualified person out. Think you need to portray the seriousness of this to your neighbour. And ask her to call a builder or other qualified person out.
  13. Waxoil is rubbish. It melts and runs off in hot weather has no anti corrosion properties and is messy should you need to work underneath the car. If undercar is immaculate then epoxy primer from lechler brushed on followed by dinitrol underseal. If undercar is a bit tatty then use the two dinitrol products one is 3125 followed by 4941 to finish. Gives great anti corrosion protection and and tough durable finish. But before applying you must make sure underneath is clean and DRY! You mustn't trap any moisture.
  14. To many foreigners abusing the NHS hasn't helped. There's Somalians in my town here receiving expensive hiv treatment and they've not paid a penny into the system.
  15. If it's reopening it probably just a door switch. As the car thinks a door, boot or bonnet open. My money on the bonnet pin cable come off. But check them all.
  16. Wind and upgrade your hydro power is cheapest and most reliable way.

    acer tree

Acer doesn't like an exposed spot so must be sheltered from the wind or it will burn. They like early sun but not full afternoon sun. And they also prefer a slightly ericaceous compost. Lovely trees though and well worth the effort.
  18. Yeah your right 4 lugs. Might need fire cement though as temperature in oven is pushing the limit of high temperature silicone. The lugs are commonly breaking off I've had to drill and screw or lockwire with cement before now. My brother is a hetas installer and I used to help him out
  19. Depending on your current phone you may be able to search for mobile networks on it and it will list what company gives signal at a chosen area.
  20. Get a small wind turbine instead it's cheaper and makes electric day and night.
  21. Grind clean then put some vactan rust killer on. Weld in new patch. thenew lechler epoxy primer. Then can be over painted It's what we do in bodyshop but make sure you also treat the rear of the repair.
  22. I know a few who don't pay because the BBC are not sticking to their royal charter so they say that to license people and it seems to work.
  23. But at least "Britain First" are trying to do something to keep Britain for British. Most people just sit back and let our freedom and heritage dissappear.
  24. Most sellers are bound by contract with estate agent that stops this. Including for period after being with the agent.
