I decided this year to do as much of my shopping away from the supermarkets and go local I have found fruit and veg etc from local farmers market cheaper and much tastier and seem to get more for my money at small butchers as well. Takes a bit more time but I dont mind that. I feel better keeping my money away from the big boys they dont help small towns like mine we are virtually just left with them and cofee shops now.
