  1. There is so much garbage coming out that it's hard to sometimes difficult to find the truth. Now we have Russia, North Korea and China throwing their lot in with Trump it will be even more difficult. You have to wonder about the calibre of the felon Trump when so many of the worlds other tyrants lend him their support. Unfortunately their bot farms can make a real difference.

That was Robert Jenricks (Tory) plan in 2002 is it being continued? https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/nov/16/immigration-minister-fears-rural-areas-will-be-asked-to-house-more-asylum-seekers https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11436871/Thousands-asylum-seekers-housed-rural-areas-bid-ensure-fairness.html
  5. I have been shooting pretty much full time for the last 10 years but now time for a change. I have the house up for sale as I want to spend some time sailing, whilst i am able. I have sold some of my rifles and the rest are to go to storage. I hope to move down to Cornwall and when I come back for winter do some shooting down there. I have moved on around 20 farms to other shooters so that the shooting is not lost from the system. Still going to book Africa 😁
  6. When i was rifle shooting rabbits. I had orders to fill. Lots were body shot so i could take the heads for a hawk. Apparently they keep the beak trim. I would bag 50 or so and then the rest head shot for the chef on the farm.
  7. Enjoyable whilst it lasted. I have been in the same boat with complaints from neighbours, its not a good feeling hopefully the farmer has other fields. I have resorted to a fully moderated 20g using subs before and they are a great answer to situations like this. They do take a lot of practice. In Africa this year we were set to shoot a pan that had around a 1000 spur wings descending on it each night. The place was a haven for mosquito's biting even through my trousers. After sitting for the best part of an hour waiting for the start of the flights having killed at least 50 mosquito's on my clothing whilst trying not to move. The first bids arrived and we started shooting. Within 20 mins we were asked to stop as the farmers wife was upset. I think i finished with 3 geese two ducks and a 100 bites.

    Raynor's plan

I think what would be interesting is if she had been guilty would she have survived the Starmer chop. She is in an interesting position given her union support. Its a job that not many would do. Campaign for years to get to be chosen for a seat then try and win that uncertain seat. If you win you may be there for four years and have little sway in that decision. It's not a job many would want to apply for. The politicians I have worked for (both labour and conservative) have mostly need extremely hard working.

I prefer to stick to the facts.

Look at the last two weeks.....🤣 Something is happening after 10 years of nowt. Even the badger cull has got the go ahead which princess numb nuts did her best to kick into touch.
  14. Well done Mossy. I am coming to the end of my shooting in Somerset just at a time when the pigeons seem to have found the place.

    Raynor's plan

You can't keep a good man down. Blair like him or not is a brilliant tactician. I hear this morning that public finances are so bad that we need economic growth of at least 2.5% for each of the next five years to avoid a hole in the public finances. The recent labour bill to ensure that the OBR has scrutiny over fiscal announcements is another great move. It follows Labours last move to give the BoE independence to set monetary policy. Nothing like this has been done by the so called Tory govt. Unfortunately the OBR changes are too late for the Tory Truss budget that we are all still paying for and will be for the next 20 years. At last we have fiscal management, with economic growth at the heart of govt. This is more conservative by far than the last govt. All that Rwanda carp has been binned and the waste curtailed all within a few weeks. Labour are left with hard choices and will no doubt be criticised for making them but make them they will. Better to be decisive than procrastinate and let the deep wounds fester. The public voted to make themselves poorer with the Brexit vote. Lets hope that labour can make a better fist of it than the dithering bunch of dip sticks that have just left office. Whatever they do will be better than the outgoing wasters, lets hope they can bring some pride, relevance and prosperity to this great country.
  17. Regardless of the kit you are using you need the right location. I have a rule when in doubt don't set out.
  18. For rough and clay shooting I am using Howard Leight electronic defenders. After trying and loosing two pairs of the electronic implants (cens) with the attendant grime that goes with them, I switched to the external units. I have two pairs one for everyday and one with a set of felt liners for when its hot. When i am shooting hundreds of birds over a day the felt helps to keep the ears from sweating. My criticism would be that despite 8 years of hard use they are still a little tight. I have also lost a pair that were dragged off the back seat of the car when shooting at night. I found them the next night but they had already succumbed to the wheels of the car.
  19. When do we come over that looks lovely. 👍
  20. Where is your evidence for Zelensky? Trump and the Trump family. It would depend on the Trump family principles. If they have principles then they would not try and buy influence in the opposition. Good on Kamala refusing the money and donating it to charity. That's the difference when principles are applied. Are you sure Vance was a choice? I am sure he will get stuck in his sponsors (project 2025) will require it. It's unlikely to be a force for good. Lets hope we don't have to see it in action.
  21. No a mafia Don would take the gloves off. With you till you win. Zelensky is working hard on the corruption issue, making some very significant improvements. Public tendering and sacking many involved in corruption. Not read about any executions but in war a strong leader has to make tough decisions. Just reading about the Trump contributions to Kamala. That was generous of the family. Nice to see that she gave the money to charity that advocates for civil rights. That must have hurt. This ^^^^ it was a fair election. There is no opportunity for another.
  22. Not sure it was a Trump choice. He would have to say yes of course but no doubt lots of pressure.
  23. This is brilliant. My only one thought would be to have a removable panel for holding the barrels. At some point maybe you want to change the rifles.
