Very nice RS new perm and early result. I was keeping an eye out of the window for a tame one but nothing doing. We have some Welsh bloke over next week with his posh truck so plan is to organise some of the tame ones and make sure all of the sheep are indoors Hopefully he will bring translating phone

Good luck with the application. Here they would not give C/F without demonstrating experience or complete a safety course. The closed ticket is a pita. I have 4 applications for clearance now. THe FAO is out to see me in the morning but he only covers two of them. I have some permissions with no clearance, some for .22 and some for .243. Keeping track of what and where is a headache.

They must have used the wrong entrance then Endoscopy is just a long cabled camera I guess it can go where they want. If its back door you have to make space first.
-
Quite enjoyed it. Worst thing is the stuff you have to drink beforehand. Procedure itself is interesting to watch on the monitor.

I have mine in the bedroom. Big down side is waking the wife when I get back late after a night on the foxes.
-
I get them all the time and think they come in on the logs. Warm up and off they go?

I have been waiting 3 months now for a rifle, should be due any time now. This sort of kit will be with you for a while so worth the wait.

Easy to be boggled listening to hearsay with a lack of facts

I have one. Safety is the right way around (forward to fire) unlike some. The gun can be unloaded with the safety on and done slowly the round drops down to your hand. Very accurate and well made. Magazine is too small.

We have a member asking to see private meeting (personnel issue) minutes. We can withhold them but during the course of the discussion the DPA was raised so we thought we better sort out a policy.
-
We have the DPA as a topic for discussion at our next meeting. My understanding is that we are a not for profit non incorporated organisation we are exempt from registration. We only keep records of members telephone numbers and addresses for sending out information. We have to get members consent, each renewal to share the contact list. Do we need to do anything else?

I used to sponsor the Lightning team in Milton Keynes. When the kids were over we used t do Basketball fri nights football sat afternoon and ice hockey in the evenings. The hockey was by far the most entertaining on and off the pitch. Went to the playoffs in Coventry and got the chance to run and slide down the ice with the team when they won. Always take the chance to see a game when I am over in SK.

Really sorry to hear that. A great looking dog. What a life she had.

Maybe you were shooting the ears. Not had one run on when my 177 hits them. I like the .22 (FAC) as the pellets are easier in the cold but 177 sub 12 is the way to go.

Nice one Foosa and well done for the extra hours

I think you have to select a picture then click the link on the right that says img and paste it in your post rather than give a link to your account

Nice result Daieye. need to work on the photo's )) Rs I guess it's a good test of your thermal tonight. I am staying in ready for the game fair in the morning and looking at the weather made the right choice.

Put it in for fox and deer. See what they say. I would be happy with the shot lets see if they agree. Truth is the deer struggle to get in so much now as I have put up sheep fencing to try and keep them off my trees. Total madness the whole process.

You have all been busy Alpha Mule nothing wrong with the HMR the foxes don't go far. I was using a .22lr and that sorted them too. Foosa when you make the effort you certainly go for it. 6 in a night well done. Born free that's my type of shooting too. RS listen you are setting the picture standard way too high. Last night we were after a few rabbits and for some reason at 1030 we decide to go to a hill to set up the Photon. Difficult when you have not read the instructions Then spot a fox way up on the hill. Swapping the scope back to the original it trots towards us and we make a quick dash up the hill to reduce the distance. Happy with the exercise as I was freezing at this point and can't hold the lamp steady. Shot taken at 160m and its down. Have to find it in daylight for the picture. Still waiting for my new rifle getting impatient now its been on order for three months. Had a call from the FAO to come and check out some land with me (another farm and my garden). This is the first time its happened as I normally send it in and they check it on their own. Visit next week so better make sure I know which fields are included. Gives me another chance to bang on about an open ticket. I called to ask about using the .243 for zeroing in the garden (cleared for HMR) to be told I can only have it if I have target species in there and then I could zero it there if agreed. So wait till next thursday to see what they say.

I have a crv 2011 plate 2.2 diesel. I can just get 40 mpg if I drive at 65. My hilux 2.5 2012 plate will do 35 MPG maybe at 60mph.
-
If cash is that tight that a few mpg matters then dont get a 4x4, stick with the vectra. Only fairly new 4x4's will compare with it on the road and give you the mpg. Older stuff will be more agricultural and unless you want to drive at 50mph wont give you the mpg. Or buy the x trail from Jasonk its clearly one of the better ones on fuel.

Can't get on with the barrels as they are not stable on sloping field sides. Ones with legs tend to sink when its soft. I use one of the swiveling tripods with modified feet and leg extensions for extra height. Its about on its last legs ( ) so I will need to replace it some time soon.

RS nice one. That's a great picture. Don't tell me that's just off your phone? If it is I need to get a new one.
