Fifty odd years ago was the last time I was there , they didn't seem so bothered back then , we never did any damage or caused any trouble just caught a few rabbits and did a bit of fishing ...might be a better idea to let the local kids fish there and get out doing something , instead of sitting indoors playing stupid killing games on a computer.. Edited to say if your stuck for a bit of fallow antler let me know , I cull a lot of them and theres bound to be a a few bits kicking around the yard . Even though the local stick maker raids us regularly...

Many years ago when I lived just down the road from bedfords park we often found rabbits and the like while out walking our long legged dogs 😏..fallow were no were near as plentiful as they are today, mind that was fifty years ago ...there used to be a nice little lake over there with some cracking perch in it ..im told 😀

My game dealer offered me 50p a KILO for neck shot fallow last week , explaining he didn't really want it but as ive supplied him for years and helped him when he couldn't get enough he felt duty bound..strange times ..

Made my day to see the fella on the mend and with a smile on his face ...

It’s will be hard enough fighting to regain his health without having to worrying about family issues ...thankfully he seems made of stern stuff and I wish him well on his road to recovery ..

I wonder if Labrador tastes different from spaniels ? ..are terriers tougher than poodle ? ..are greyhounds a bit stringy ? are bulldogs a bit fatty ? ....anyway Fat Kim Wrongun is barking mad so will be right at home in the kennels ..

I’m the worlds greatest sceptic when it comes to things like cbd oil and the like so when my pal recommended it to ease my hip problem I took it in the belief that it wasn’t going to work and it was a gesture ...three drops under the tongue , hold it there as long as you can then swallow , it tastes disgusting . Repeated twice more , Twenty four hours later as I was hobbling up stairs the pain stopped , and I mean just like a switch had been flicked the pain switched off .Noticable after several weeks of constant pain and on a diet of anti inflammatories and pain killers I was converted .I carried on taking the oil for two months before stopping , the pain never returned for close on fifthteen months , I immediately started the oil again with the same result , although this time I stopped taking it after just a week ...four months on and the hip joint hasn’t flared up again .. The nurfen and paracetamol I was taking was having a seriously bad effect on me and doing very little in relation to easing the pain ,much less so than when I was taking it daily in quite large doses a few years ago to keep me mobile whilst waiting for a full knee replacement .I wonder if you build up some sort of immunity to these drugs and require more and more to feel any effect . At the time I was taking two nurfen and two paracetamol four times a day minimum , five years later when the hip started playing up I started taking the same dose but this time it didn’t work and I had the side effects .CBD oil worked for me ..

When we were kids 60years ago a mate had a pet crow , had the same name as WC Guy Gibson’s black lab ...would raise an eyebrow or two now ..😂..vicious ****** he was to ..

As someone that is called out to deal with deer/ animal rta’s discharging a firearm on a public highway is big no no and asking for trouble ..If on the other hand you contact the police , explain what is happening and get permission and an incident number you should be ok ..they might not give you permission , it depends on the location and public access ..driving by and not being able to help leaves a very empty feeling .... Looseing you firearms / shotgun certificates is a price to far ..

I remember back in the old days ,we had just moved down to Essex from Stepney I was about 10 , I’m 69 now , my old fella going next door to ask the neighbours to stop banging on the wall .This quickly turned into a stand up , toe to toe fight after the fella swore at my mother ...we never ever had a problem after that ...no police , no council ..no court .How times have changed ..

If the police took his guns and equipment they would have to log them in to their storage or log them with an rfd and there will be a record of that . They would not have the right to sell his guns . There surely would need to be due process before being allowed to destroy anything ..

They had a bloody good go at parliament square with all those nasty country / hunting people ....no Mr Nice guy there , straight out and out beating ..never ever forgiven the police for that and will never trust them again ..

Are the police actually holding his guns or are they with an RFD ..? Either way when he’s able to get about and use them , what’s stopping him from getting them back ? ....hopefully they may be the driving force that pushes him on to recovery ..
