  1. the can-bus suggestion is my take on the problem also the newer cars can detect when a bulb has blown, adding another bulb to the circuit messes with this system, hence the coding issues but...... you can get a generic relay box that senses the relevant circuit and then uses a relay to operate the trailer light, the relay box is fed with a separate [to canbus] supply, i.e. direct from the battery / cigarette lighter etc etc had a few done by non franchised guy's but...... I don't do them myself because if you screw up a modern car it may have to go back to the main dealer to be unwound also the 'professionals ' solder wires they don't 'scotch lock' them regds

Had virgin tivo etc etc Bought a new big samsung tv, £500 smart tv , other tv's are available Bought four of those plug in modems, one connects to the modem, the others plug into your smart tv [tv's] I take HD free view via a tv aerial, and catch up tv via the modem, netflix via the modem and you tube via the modem virgin charge me £29 for phone tv and internet, simples I dont do football so not sure how that would work, [internet via smart tv/modem?] was paying £52, they put it up to £57, I now pay £29, and they left the tivo box [dont use it now with catch up] smart tv is the way to go, but not via wifi regds

  19. To tell the truth I'm a bit new to this landie thing I went to a classic car auction to look at three rough series 3 landies at circa £2500 and some bubble cars............... but I saw this one and ended up buying it. Always fancied one since I drove a V8/series 3 fire engine landrover, many moons ago, at an aerodrome and loved it. It would deliver 1000 litres of water anywhere on site within 90 secs [ as opposed to the green goddess that it replaced, which would deliver water where and when it decided ] never did put a fire out though So..... which club? Tilt alarm noted regds neil
  20. Because of its value it has to be garaged and it has a thatchem immobiliser Disc lock......... yep got one of too fingers crossed
