Hes been arrested on suspicion of stealing from a prisoner of war camp not firearms offence (well not yet) you can deffinatly see that some of the amo is deactivated so possibly to guns are as well. but not much of a storey in that. Man arrested on suspicion of stealing after a large haul of wall hangers found, doesn't have to same impact

The only reasons people are starving in the third world are 1: they can't move to some where were there is food or the possibility of growing food as would have happened a few thousand years ago or 2: they don't have the money to bring the food to them and that isn't going to change no matter how many millions of £ we send it will never get to how needs it. After all pictures of starving kids is good for the charities and good for the leader of the countries, keeps the money rolling in! The only people that do any real charitable work are you and I by putting our hands in our pockets! I was shocked and a bit horrified to find out that someone i know very well who had cancer some time ago and now does a bit for a cancer charity puts in a claim for expenses! My veiw on charity is it may cost you a bit of money and or time but that is what you are giving! Sorry that turned in to a bit of a rant!

Sorry for the rather abrupt reply but its one of my pet hates, just moving a problem on to someone else weather in be foxes, iffy cars or any thing else. Some one i know has had real problems with some body releasing foxes on his land!

Why would you think it is ok to release on some one else's land to cause them problems? trap it and kill it of do some thing to deter it, but don't release it some where after all its only digging holes release it and how do you know it won't go off and kill someones chickens!

When i walking around a stubble/ clover field this morning the dogs put up about a dozen pigeons and half a dozen rocks, about 20 minutes later they put some more up from the same spot. Kept an eye on the area for the rest of the walk and say a few dropping back in so i thinks to my self may be able to have a bit of fun. Hide up decoys out gun ready and the first couple of pigeons came straight in hardly had time to get comfy missed with the first shot but got one with the second! Not a bad start , as i was reloading a crow came over my head from behind me by the time id got cartridges in and the gun closed it was at a good range (for me any way)but going dead straight, another one down! by the time it hit the ground it was 80 plus yards away. Then nothing for about 20 minutes until some of Clarke's mate mates came looking for him, I guess his name was Clarke as that was what they were calling 4 or 5 circled round and a couple landed to have a better look I the missed a pigeon well watching this going on . After waiting another 15 minute with nothing I heard a magpie just along the hedge, now I've been after this magpie for ages see it all the time but it won't go in a trap and i haven't managed to get close enough with a gun yet. So site back in the hide with fingers crossed as it comes closer! Closer still and then someone came up the other side of the hedge on a horse as they past the magpie goes straight over my hide on its way over it cr**s in my coffee and the day went down hill from there!

Great gun well made etc etc but not for me, couldn,t hit a barn if i was standing in it with one! just the fit and feel doesn't seem right. If it is close to fitting you great and it can be adjusted for you, it would also be worth looking at Browning, miroku and as i did fabarm or caesar guerini all good guns and all a little differant

I would say that longer barrels would be less noisey but only because the longer barrels will absorb more heat so take more energy from the hot gases, less heat = less energy = less noise. But don't think you would be able to messure the differance

17 hmr for me 1 reason is its much lighter than my .22 If I can only have one gun I would stick with the .22 mine gets a lot more use than the 17
