  1. I'd be surprised if the shooter gets to keep their ticket. Not going to start a witch hunt as I don't know the full facts however this type of incident should never be allowed to happen, I'm just glad no one was injured.
  2. As we buy more than we sell, keeping a strong currency is a positive. Unlike Germany who export more than they import.
  3. I'm not sure I trust them, every piece of information individually screened etc, would be easy to block the bits they don't want public.
  4. Some of these comments are like when antis tar the whole shooting community with the same brush when a game keeper is caught killing protected birds and the like, there's some very good coppers out there and you never know, you might need one some day, I don't get all the police bashing I really don't.
  5. I've heard people say put a large rubber ball in there food bowl which will slow them down, might be worth a try
  6. Agreed, as usual the voice of common sense.
  7. I suggest you Google a saiga 12 shotgun, there's nothing more devastating than a shotgun for close range, alot of the lads in afgan use shotguns loaded with 00 buck for first man entry into rooms. Terrible events but banning pistols has saved no one, look at the Derick bird incident.
  8. I think scully has summed you up nicely, troll, as terrible as it was how would it have been any different if Hamilton had walked in there with a shotgun or rifle? The only option to stop the possibility of a licensed weapon being used in an incident like this would be to ban private firearm ownership outright, and Nutters would still find a way to kill people. silly unhelpful comment.
  9. That I think could be opening a can of worms and would not be something I would do.
  10. I might be going slightly off topic but I think somethings gone seriously wrong with sociaty lately and it only seems to be getting worse, I don't even think it's a 'townie' vs 'country' issue, it seems to be a general I'm the centre of the universe attitude that is getting worse as the years go on and its effecting all aspects of life.
  11. Unfortunately there really is no winner's in a situation like this, I feel sorry the dog owner has lost a family member as I know how I would feel if I lost my dog from being shot however my dog would never be in a position like that and the farmer obviously had no other option, I just hope she and other idiotic dog owners learn something from this.
  12. I'm early thirtys and all my friends want out, I literally know nobody who's voting in.
  13. I think a better question would be, if people need to ask questions like this should they be allowed to own a dog? My answer to that would be a definite no
  14. Sounds like alot of doctors I know.
  15. Might help the OP if you state the barrel length of your M2?
  16. Barrel will be the longest part, find how long the safe is and if it's longer than the barrel plus a couple of inches to allow for the breach it should be fine
  17. Not mine, most will say nothing to be fixed etc, I've only stipulated this because you don't know who your going to get but the guy I've got at the moment is good as gold if he asked me to fix a gun safe i'd say crack on, if someone did it without asking however and it left marks on the wall I'd be within my rights to withhold some deposit to make good. My advice would be ask, like I said I wouldn't have a problem with it
  18. That's something I hadn't thought of. Not good at all.
  19. I say 3, it just seems the moral thing to do, life carry's risk its how that risk is perceived and managed which leads people to view everything differently, like I said before this incident hasn't changed my view of the police particularly the vast majority of individual officers who will often times put themselves in harm's way to keep the public safe, I'm sure all the officer who dealt with it wanted to do was resolve the issue in the manner he/she best thought fit, even if I think it was the wrong choice.
  20. I rent out a property and I may be biased but I certainly wouldn't have a problem if my tenant asked me.
  21. Not being argumentative but it hasn't been mentioned that people hit hundreds of foxes and badgers on the roads every day and you don't hear of many accidents caused by them, granted they're smaller than a dog but I wonder if they didn't over reaxt, I don't know?
  22. For me this sums it up perfectly, I to support the police and I'm not saying that the officers involved should be sacked just that I feel in this instance they got it wrong, there human after all. As has been mentioned by ozzy the officers involved will have to justify it and it will be on them alone to do that, like I mentioned earlier I think that roboticly following a decision making model without thinking 'what would the public expect of me' can at times land them in hot water but that's just my speculation.
