I tend to think that a lot of people with a shooting truck get a bit blinkered and think that there motor is the best etc forgetting any issues occurred over the years. As said on here look for something that's had an easier life and remember if you buy anything 2nd hand then there's always the chance of issues. my advice lad would be let him be a pup and play; don't get into a daily set routine/plan at that age- every dogs different so you might have a quick learner or an immature halfwit and you`ll only get frustrated and the dog will pick up on this. Get him used to his name and associating you with fun and rewards be it a tickle or a dog treat. Join a dog class so he gets used to other dogs. You`ll get loads of better advice on here from decent experienced handlers but the best bit of advice I could give is to make sure you and the dog enjoy it and he/she doesn't get bored.

I think I'd dislike 'bike *******' slightly less if they paid road tax of some description and also had insurance. It's their sheer arrogance on country roads when they hold up the traffic and don't fall into single file when its clear that 2 abreast cycling isn't appropriate. I met 20 or so on a single track road (my road as it happens) and they were furious when they had to stop and move onto the grass verges to let me past. Rant over

The poor French have seen enough in recent times without what could be a great carnival style tournament being turned into mass brawls. Heaven help us when we play Russia........
