  1. I was up at Cluny on Sunday aswell. Nice display of guns in the restaurant (!) for Beretta day.
  2. http://www.britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk/ Soldier 95 trousers / Ripstop jacket / Camo zipped shirt = £15 + p+p Cheap as the proverbial.
  3. It's just over half of the average Premiership football side's pitch.
  4. Don't you just hate fanboys?
  5. I got mine from here... http://www.mobiles24.com You have to register, but they're free, and there are loads.
  6. Just downloaded the deliverance theme ringtone for the mobile... classic!
  7. Just checked your profile... sorry.
  8. Russ... May I ask how old you are?
  9. Brilliant. I saw the series on VHS first... didn't quite catch it 1st time round! Probably my favourite sitcom ever, and so glad in a way that they only made 12 quality episodes.
  10. Isn't he saying though, that the squirrel was IN FRONT of the trunk, and therefore the trunk was immediately behind the squirrel? Surely that would provide a pretty solid back-stop?
  11. Left shoulder trigger button... half hold is free aim, full hold is lock on... PS3.
  12. Not much luck there... just getting off ur ar$e and doing something. Feels good huh.
  13. When I ordered my 40 Gb PS3 before Xmas, the description said it was matt finish. When it came though, it was high gloss like the original 60 Gb. The lack of PS2 compatibility didn't matter to me as I don't have any of those games.
  14. Yeh it's pretty good. Wouldn't say the graphics are as sharp as say COD4 when driving at speed, but the complexity and detail of the game are just breathtaking. Need to get a hang of the controls before getting stuck into multiplayer. I tend to play less on the missions, and more just exploring the city. I put in the cheats for helicopter / weapons etc, and have been fartng about shooting people and flying around... good stuff.
  15. Are these scarce? My local place does 10 shot plastic mags for £25.
  16. Lots of sound advice there. I'd say get some cards printed with your details. Get insured if you aren't already. Don't be pushy, but offer them the card as you leave... just in case. And above all, don't get disheartened. I'd almost given up on a permission as It was just pigeon shooting in sheds, but a casual text to the farmer turned it into a 400 acre rabbit infested paradise! Don't give up. Be confident but not cocky, but above all, polite and professional. Good luck.
  17. Lol I remember that... Fingermouse... what a legend! I recall the guy looked like Cat Stevens...
  18. What's wrong with standing on it's skull? Pretty quick, and I'd imagine less painful than several unsuccessful neck-wringing attempts?
  19. I used to use "Semi wadcutters" (hollow points) in my old HW77k, and they worked very well. To be honest though, any pellet that hits the mark is going to do a job. .22 rimfire goes through most of the time, but creates sufficient shock to kill the animal. .17hmr on the other hand totally destroys rabbits, particularly with ballistic tips. Extra range is nice too.
  20. Yeh cheers. Nice well made wee guns. Was up at the clays with it today and got a few fast crossers with it. Why am I selling it again? lol
  21. Not THAT difficult surely? http://www.montrosegunsandtackle.co.uk/pricelist2/
  22. Webley & Scott .410 Bolt action Shotgun 2 1/2" Chamber and in nice condition - no pics, sorry. This wee shotgun is currently being stored by a shop in Kirkcaldy called "We're Game" as I don't have any room for it! Looking for £60 for it. Face to Face only, SGC holders obviously.
  23. The 9mm rimfire rounds are pretty hard to come by and are expensive. About £8 - £10 per box I think. As suggested, better with a .410 and 2" shells filled with no.9 shot.
