  1. Those little Webleys are great. The kind of gun that if you sell it, you regret it straight away! Just such a pity they don't come in 3" chamber.
  2. Almost without exception, full choke unless it's been eased at some point. Bad news about the screws. You might find if you ask your local gunshops, they may have odd screws lying around. The hole has probably been widened to such an extent now that it wouldn't accept an original Webley screw anyhow. Get some nitromors and strip and sand back the stock and give it an oil finish. I did mine and it came out very well. How much did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?
  3. Excellent first shotgun, mate, and Daz is a good bloke to deal with too.
  4. Sold to FalkirkDave pending the usual - Thanks.
  5. As title, I have an unused Hoppes Boresnake in .17 cal. Ideal for .17hmr / .17 mach2 or .17 Rem I suppose. Not sure if it's any good on .177 air though. Looking for £14 + £1 p+p
  6. No, it's non-ejector, mate. Part of the reason I bought it originally - I hate ejectors!
  7. Nice condition AYA Yeoman Side by Side in 12g with very tight action. Fixed chokes - 1/2 and full I believe. Couple of small marks on stock, but nothing to worry about. Looking for £150 for a quick sale.
  8. Well, as he's stated it's for an air rifle, somebody could still sell him one 2nd hand and post it to him. Provided it's not on that person's FAC ticket obviously.
  9. I've had a couple of these little guns. Very simple, but will last for ages! Also, they suit smaller frames so are ideal for ladies or kids having a go at clays etc. Just make sure it actually fires (Try it if you can) Take out the bolt and make sure it isn't loose or wobbly. Max range is usually about 20-30 yards. Any more than that, and there just aren't enough pellets in 11 grams to do the job properly. I got rid of mine simply because of the limits a 2 1/2" chamber brings.
  10. "It's a Wonderful world" Aah, Sunday afternoon and a few boozy juices!
  11. Good morning indeed, although the weather is mingin' up here! Just having a cuppa then off to bed... teehee!
  12. Gawd, lot's of tired hands after crowning all those!!
  13. Hard to say without any perspective, but given the slightly off angle, i'd say he gave it more lead than it looks, so HIT!
  14. Is that a side-by-side? Don't think i've ever seen a camo SBS before... ever lol. Not my cup of tea personally. Maybe on an auto, but each to their own
  15. Not sure this one will always work, mate. I tried accessing a site which I know 100% My IP address will not be allowed into, and it recognised me as being disallowed, even through this anonymouse page.
  16. Some of the guys from www.shootforum.com met up at Cluny a few weeks back, and we're planning on doing it again around Christmas. Any of you guys into it? Get over there and put your names down for a meet up.
  17. They sure are! First time I tried them 2 weeks ago, and hit 2 out of 6 Not bad though as I watched a kitted-up couple have a good 30 pops at them and missed every single one! I'd estimate the overhead distance to be a good 50 yards on that stand. The 2 driven pheasants are good too.
  18. I don't think you would necessarily need the funds to be sitting IN Paypal. I'd say as long as you choose Paypal as an option, but then directly fund it with Maestro or Credit card it should accept it. A year or so ago, there was something similar where I got about a tenner to spend free. So I bought an accessory for nowt! Nice.
  19. I've shot a rabbit with my HMR... Ripped it's heart literally out ouf the exit hole, left a huge hole in it's chest, and it still managed to scramble 15 yards. Perfectly placed heart shot, but it was still technically a "Runner". Of course it's ideal to have 100% perfect placement, but the laws of nature don't always do what we'd like them to. Nice post, though.
  20. Where is a decent supplier of Eley subs in Scotland? Out of my 2 local shops, neither are stockists. The place that used to sell them are now closed!
  21. Yeh right! NOBODY is learning the truth lol
  22. I've got one in the sales section. It's a C42 size, but the arms are a little short for my baboon limbs. Would prob be OK for a 38" chest too.
  23. Just go to your county's Police website. Search for "firearms" and there should be a downloadable form to print out.
  24. Are these the little stubby ones, mate?
