Bike insurance - Something must have changed
bbjunkie replied to death from below's topic in Off Topic
Yes, I've grown out of mine (almost) and have only done approx 500 miles since November! Nice bike, very soft front end though, the v-twin power delivery and engine note is awesome... however I prefer the note of the in-line 4's myself. Perhaps a Honda Hornet? Meant to say, I only paid £130 ish for a year (TPO) -
Bike insurance - Something must have changed

I strongly advise you to try contacting Rampdale for a quote, they were less than half the price of Bennetts when I insured my bike last November. I had however just passed my test, and had no 2 wheel NCB however have 14 yrs NCB on 4 wheels. -
The BB twins? enough to make anyone cringe

Got the Oregon Scientific WMR928N (Wireless) and it's a decent job, hooked up to Weatherdisplay ( http://www.weather-display.com/index.php ) software on the PC Cheaper than the vantage pro also! IIRC there are some issues with the LaCrosse units, try googling them

This happened in Scotland as well when the law came in, they would go outside the pub with their pints and then people were getting done for drinking in a public place

I think the game fair at Moira is larger, however it was last weekend Never been to the Shanes Castle one.. if it's as expensive to get into as the Moira one (a tenner), I wont be either

You will find there are cheaper alternatives. Find out what the active ingredient is in Clarityn and buy a generic version. Cost me £6 for enough pills to keep me going for 2 years.

Saw an article on GMTV about 10 days ago, they reckon there is several different types... Seems that if your hayfever is triggered by grass pollen then you should consider cutting down or cutting out oats, rye, wheat, kiwi and raw tomato; and if you react to weeds try to avoid raw carrots and curry spices. If you react to birch (Tree pollen), you may also react to celery, curry spices, raw tomato, raw carrot, apples and pears. The full article can be read here

Excellent pics! I agree it's the best time of the day... I enjoy it so much, I regularly head out fishing at 04.30-05:00 not a soul around.. all the wildlife going about its normal business and the mist rising from the ground. Life couldn't be better

Don't even THINK about AOL. I have first hand experience about trying to migrate to another ISP - 3 months and over 20 phonecalls later I'm free from them, however they kept billing my debit card. Once my debit card was cancelled they set up a direct debit! When I called my bank's telephone banking line, they said they had numerous complaints about AOL doing this. Problem is the law is so twisted that they know they can get away with it. I set up a poll on a forum a few months ago, and almost every ex aol user that responded had been billed after cancelling

Saw a Jay here last week... First one ever in the area. Not exactly a rare breed in the UK, but certainly rare in this area.

I agree, I tried it last summer, when I caught a few in the local trout fishery.... very tasty... but don't freeze them, they need to be eaten fresh.

Skype is not the only VOIP provider, there are others, some of which are much cheaper. An analogy here would be that Skype VOIP is like the BT of internet providers. Anyone who thinks VOIP thinks Skype where a lot of people think BT are the only (DSL) broadband provider. I guess it's a lot to do with advertising. A lot of people also don't realise that Skype is P2P so in actual fact when your Skype software is running your broadband connection is forwarding data from other calls not only your own. - Careful if you are on a metered broadband package! Sorry to hijack - back to the main point.. I have a pair of BT's Quartet 3500 phones and they dont give me any bother, however they are rarely used as they are on a second line.
