Im a complete novice to pigeon shooting have only been out a few times with a friend. I have just bought my own decoys hide etc & I've gone for the most simple & light set up... 10 shell decoys on the springey stick things & two floating bouncers & if this works and I can connect just add the dead birds to the pattern with the head supported up all facing into the wind

Following! Regularly visit anglesey & have often thought of the wildfowling there

Late reply but I didnt have any luck catching the mackeral I did have success with some wrasse tho the girlfriend even caught her first wrasse also happened to be the biggest of the day on the cheapest rod & simplest rig! Typical was very happy for her tho. Struggling to suss out how to upload the pictures tho!

My friend spent a lot of time trying to catch catfish in the end he just put his usual carp rigs out & bingo caught a catfish! Typical think it was on a large halibut boilie or pellet I believe big chunks of spam can work well

If you are on Facebook or either of your lads are there a few facebook groups for beaters etc sure you will get some offers on there 👍

Will cash out now against brook one last scrap & then he will retire..probs be plugged by matchroom boxing 8 years to late tho but both will cash out on it. Tyson has at least been in with the best of them of his time I dont think he has many fights in him left tho four more fights and he is finished in my opinion. Hughie should go back to basics english , euro & then take it fight by fight if he gets that far On another note oleksandr usyk has now entered the heavyweight division I await to see him as I think he could clear up the division but would probably be held back like a lot of the posing threats are!

Stinks the place out everytime & then jumps out of the ring & says he wants the big fights ..steps up gets outboxed & then claims he was cheated & won! Like to see him in the ring with old del boy before chisora hangs them up!

Terrible fight just watched the first round of amir khans fight ...turned it off watching reservoir dogs now on channel dave will flick back during adverts but I think I already know who is going to win...did you notice the nick on amirs cheek tho before the fight started?

Cheers guys will keep you updated going down with the girlfriend & dog so I imagine my fishing will be limited to a couple hours at best 😂 There's a chance I might be camping there at the end of the month so hopefully that will offer up some more fishing time 👍

The isle of anglesey just off north wales possibly try newbourgh beach if low tide or a couple rock marks I know

Might be going to anglesey this sunday for the day I believe there showing there so might have a go with the feathers for a couple hours if the weathers good might even chuck a disposable bbq in the boot & have them on the beach if I manage to get some fingers crossed 🎣

It can be dis heartening can't it felt like that this morning on my way back home but you've got to keep at it I suppose If you can laminate your cards as well it's a big help makes them waterproof while attached to the fence posts & if you hand them out they dont get trashed as easy if there in someones wallet / van / tractor 👍

Going the right way! I was out myself this morning just got back in found a couple fields that are being hammered by pigeons taped my card to the entrances to fields . One had rope bangers attached so I'm hopeful I might get a call from that one. Going to go on google maps now and try locate the fields I found & ring the farms nearest to it to try get a name & number of the land owner . All you can do is try good luck mate👍 I'm in the same boat as you!

Keep a look out on Ebay they often pop up or I've even found a cabinet for sale in my local gun shop from a retired shooter . The adds get posted at clay pigeon grounds as well I've found

its right handed you can tell by which side the breech is on

Ye can't fault branthwaites I normally get my cartridges from there & I've enquired about a gun in the past as well always good service & all the staff are very friendly Thanks I will have a look it's a three year warranty I believe on them new isnt it

Cheers for the replies everyone 👍 There is a couple left handed benelli's on gun trader at the moment just advertised as 12gauge benelli mancino Mancino meaning left handed in Italian but it doesent state which actual model the benelli is Fair few Remington 1100s also

Anyone recommend a good value semi auto for around the £500 mark or less left handed shooter but I believe some of beretta & browning models have the shims to change the cast on them. Normally shoot over & under while pigeon shooting but that third shot would really come in handy Cheers
