  1. Yes when in motion they certainly look more solid in colour than what they actually are for some reason. I’ll be completely honest I don’t know exactly how the light meters work or how the transmission rate is worked out. It will be the same as “black” tints, some will be legal and others won’t and you can bet your last pound that plenty will be running with illegal tint levels hoping not to get pulled over.
  2. Hi @shatel extremely interested but would depend on location and a measurement being good. The measurement I’m most interested in is from the inner floor of the cabinet to the bottom (outside) of ammo safe. thanks
  3. The tints you’re referring to come in loads of different colours, I see them all the time round my way, normally young lads driving bmw 1 series , merc A class or Audi 3’s and 4’s (other makes models too) I know them by the name “chameleon tints” and they’re legal providing they let in the legally required 75% light. A traffic officer who works in conjunction with “a car guy” to try and bridge the gap between modifiers and the police confirmed the legality in the following video https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cfn9E9GjV1c/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
  4. I’ve found reading this thread rather amusing. Some of the views hilarious and some very much of a lynch mob mentality. I'm not a fan of brand, but still I can acknowledge his intelligence and his appeal to many. predator 🤣 hardly! Taking advantage of people throwing themselves at you does not make you a predator. Morally imbalanced, maybe. But, that would purely be based on other people’s opinions. My opinion would be that anyone that believes him having multiple encounters sometimes with multiple people as being predatory or morally wrong are just jealous of his escapades. He’s never tried to hide (in his own words) his promiscuity, in fact he’s always been very open about it…..and still is. id be interested to know how many of you can honestly say that in your prime you’d have turned down a couple of very good looking members of your prefered sex throwing themselves at you? as has been mentioned above brand is very outspoken against various groups/ organisations/ and what’s going on in the world currently and we all know “they” don’t like it when that happens and even less so when it’s gaining momentum…. So agreeing with someone above it stinks of smear campaign and cancel culture to me. I’ll be interested to see how this progresses in the legal system.
  5. A) you missed the point of what I was saying. It’s the owner not the dog b) you kind of proved my point by saying remove the dog and replace with x y z with the eegit owner….. it’s the owner not the dog c) fatalities would likely increase. Statistically you are more likely to die from tripping an hitting your head than being attacked by a dog, add an aggressive small attacking dog (trip hazard) into the mix and it’s a recipe for disaster. and yes before it’s pointed out on that last point I am being Facetious and will continue to be every time something I say is purposefully taken out of context or twisted. Yes. i think the second point is maybe a little extreme but could be an option. Imprisonment for a minimum of manslaughter and on release Banning said owner from ever owning a dog again (and anyone in their household) as well as banning them from being in charge/control of a dog would be a sensible option. any dog is capable of being trained to be vicious/scary/attack and yes some breeds are far more likely to have these characteristics naturally but I stand by my original statement that it’s the owners that purposefully bring out these characteristics and banning a specific breed will just move them onto the next breed they can train for aggression. (And I highly doubt they’ll choose a chihuahua)
  6. Sorry, I wasn’t very clear with that was I, when I said trained to attack I was referring to the yob’s/ local hard man/ plastic gangster/drug dealers , not as you pointed out those that have trained (weapons) attack dogs/ protection dogs for legitimate reason. So I agree with what you say completely and should have Been clearer 👍🏻
  7. Welcome, plenty of old hand Wildfowlers on here from what I’ve seen, don’t be afraid to get stuck in and ask some questions about what you’d like to know. My guess is they’d be happy to oblige as long as it’s not asking for specific times and spots etc 🤣 that will likely be met with a brick wall 👍🏻
  8. Absolutely pointless banning them for various reason’s I’ll go with a list and start with the most important. 1. it is NEVER the dog! 2. ALL dogs have the capability to attack and maim, yes some will cause more damage due to size and power but at the end of the day it comes down to how they have been treated and or trained (or lack of) and therefore it’s the owners we should be looking at and not the dogs. 3. Banning this specific breed will only lead to these owners attaching themselves to another breed (if the ban happens I believe it will be the cane corso next) and then no doubt breed them for specifics looks statures……leading to another breed being added to the banned list - again we should be looking at the owners/ breeders 4. I don’t believe dogs attack for no reason, something triggers them into doing so and if I’m wrong and these dogs specifically just randomly attack then they should never have been allowed to be owned as pets in the first place (again it’s the owner and the training in my opinion) 5. if a dog is euthanised due to being dangerous, untrained, trained to attack then we should be looking at jailing the owner in much the same way as we would if it was a driver using a vehicle to hurt/maim, someone wielding a knife/weapon etc 6, just imagine if the same stance was taken about us lot after the raul moat saga. Middle aged white men are banned from ownership just in case.
  9. @Hedgemonkey let’s be completely honest m25 a12 a13 a130 are all a problem at various parts of the day 🤣🤣. I don’t know any other shooters in witham so unlikely we know each other
  10. Im fully aware, fully aware of the fact they’re trying to push through forced entry into people homes etc and as you say nothing in the news just how they like it!!
  11. That’s an option mate, but that turns money in for .410’s and back out on a 20g into money out on another cabinet and money out on another gun and my Mrs wearing my ⚽️ 🏀’s as earrings 🤣
  12. Nooooo, that stuff is rubbish, fails after 6months to a year. I did a bit of work for a mates landscaping company and he was sold on it by the sales man and we all loved using it but he then started getting call backs to rectify its failure, cost him a lot of time and money sorting it out and safe to say he stopped using it. Think it was called easy joint
  13. Pretty sure it’s builders sand, the very fine orange stuff, mixed four to one with cement.
  14. Happy to help although I’m not sure I agree with that last statement 🤣
  15. Does it have a little metal flap at the top of the hole/spout where you put the fuel nozzle in? If so have you tried pushing it open? My motor has this and the only thing that will open it is a fuel nozzle or the manufacturer supplied funnel it’s otherwise “locked” and doesn’t even have a fuel cap.
  16. It’s a shame my .410’s haven’t had any interest, you’re not far down the road from me and I’d have snapped this up for my daughter 🤦‍♂️ unfortunately no cabinet space.
  17. Nicole has her own site with blogs etc. I found it interesting, informative, a good read and a breath of fresh air if anyone would care to take a look :- https://www.shootinggirlwithanafro.com/
  18. When you find the tyre you choose to go with it would be well worth checking out Asda tyres, I’ve not found anyone that can beat them on price. The displayed price also includes delivery to your chosen tyre fitter and the fitting balancing etc. edit to say I have bfg ko2’S on my ranger and can’t fault them at all and the wear rate is phenomenally good
  19. Another great video, and as mentioned above seems like a shooter dream on that farm.
  20. That sounds like an epic couple of hours shooting you had!
  21. II live in witham which is not far from Maldon and I drive for a living, I’d not touch the 406 with a barge pole, m25 then a12 every time for me
  22. Fantastic mate! Great to get them involved and out enjoying themselves 👌🏻
  23. So today the daughter asked if we could go out and look for some pigeons, I didn’t need asking twice! so off we went, not really much about and it was going in blind as I’ve not shot shotguns for around six months due to a shoulder injury and a new job, anyway she decided she’d rather stay out for an hour or two despite the lack of pigeons. So I obliged, threw up the hide chucked the decoys out and didn’t expect much other than an hour of questioning from the daughter, a few pigeons came in….I couldn’t hit a barn door 🤦‍♂️ “maybe we should just go home daddy” is still ringing in my ears now! As it approached half six (pack up time) I saw one coming in fully committed so I slowly mounted the gun as I rose from my seat and bang one woodie down and with a flicker in the corner of my eye swung onto a second that I’d not originally seen, I hesitated as thought It was a stocky… realised it wasn’t it was a feral so pulled the trigger down it went. A swift pack up and home we went. Put all the gear away and walked into the kitchen to hear my daughter informing the wife that she didn’t want mummy to make her dinner as daddy was cooking up her pigeon for her dinner (news to me) 🤣. The daughters demand :- Mac cheese(daughters favourite ) with pigeon breast cooked up in butter and garlic ensued… and swiftly demolished
