  1. Ok, I would accept a Woodward stock profile, see below my individual thoughts
  2. Double trigger guns should have a straight stock to allow your hand to slide effortlessly between the triggers. Not a fixed pistol grip and then contorted.

I see very few people driving their cars in the pavements. I would agree that in total number it is likely that there are far more dangerous drivers than dangerous cyclists, however by proportion I’m not sure that would still stack. I work in a city centre so am exposed to poor cycling daily, near my home the cyclists are generally lovely.
  4. He can apply with use of the cabinet at your house. If he applies for SGC he doesn’t need to join a club. I joined a rifle club long before I applied for an FAC.

    Migraine?

All my family are the same with this, I used to be really bad until made adjustments. My sisters have them everyday. I hate exposed light fittings in ‘trendy’ pubs etc. My wife was mortified last week when we went to a new place and I asked the waitress if I could just sort the lights the proceeded to unscrew the offending bulbs. When I left I screwed them back in. The problem is these places see something on the internet and try to ape it. They do not employ lighting designers and so do not understand that display lights must be very low luminosity with hidden lighting doing the heavy lifting. If my eyes catch a bare bulb as I move my gaze it can trigger an attack. I am a write off for 24 hours then.
  6. Thanks Conor, but the link sends me to that old really boring video. Is it that correct? Well done BASC for getting involved with Labour anyway. Most of them are not bad people just uninformed.

France These tiny videos do not show any context. Literally anything could have just happened. The cyclist could have just run down that man’s child. Or the man could just be a thug. Either way very little information.
  8. I’ve got the same gun and love it. Good luck with the sale.

A pavement cyclist doing 15-20mph down hill almost hit me yesterday at 13.15 as I stepped out of our office door. Today at a similar time he almost hit a newly pregnant architect we employ. I was not pleased on either occasion but he didn’t hear me shout with his ear phones in. Just a prediction but a strong feeling that tomorrow he is likely to end up under the wheels of an artic on the main road.

    Pensions

A good time to have a SIPP with the battering to commercial property values. Will be some bargains coming up, buy via SIPP then convert to C3.
  11. Businesses incur costs, they pass these to their customers or become non viable. You can either hide costs in other areas or be honest and open about it.
  12. That probably isn’t correct . My walked up days cost between £35 and £60 per day last year. One of my DIY syndicates in North Wales is £300 for the year (365 days vermin rabbit/fox/crow/pigeon, shoot alternate Saturdays during the season 500 pheasants, woodcock, mallard, hare), on just one of the ten game days I shot 14 head of game. In my experience it is much harder to find decent pigeon shooting and permissions are like gold dust in a heavily populated area. If you are still around here in February I will invite you down the the syndicate AGM, held in Hinderton.
  13. Interesting, very different to what we are being told regarding the wall.
  14. His failure to dismantle Obamacare, his failure to build the wall.
  15. The problem with that argument is that most of his failings are matters of record or from his own mouth on video. I do agree with your view of the MSM regarding Kyle Rittenhouse, that demonstrates proof of bias and misrepresentation to me. Having view much footage and background information, what that young boy did was save his own life from deadly attack by a series of armed convicted criminals. He deserves a medal not a prison cell - that was clear within 24 hours of the incident.
  16. If you want to shoot in my place I can come and beat for you 🤔
  17. Thanks for the clarification Conor. My shoot is in a Welsh lockdown area so I am scuppered, but there is nothing BASC or anyone could have done in this instance.

I work on the Liverpool side most days, Ferry is no longer a commuter option as it takes the tourist route AFAIK. Takes me 30 mins to drive in. My dream is to move the office towards me into Cheshire in a small rural conversion to business use. Harder to get staff but now we have a good reputation that is less of an issue. Sheffield has very steep streets and tram lines. Both made cycling harder.
  19. If you are poor your job is less likely to be something you can do from home. You are not financially able to take time off to shield / isolate etc. Businesses and councils have fewer resources to put in prevention measures In the poorer areas there is also a huge distrust of the government and its commitment to its own CV19 rules.

I used to cycle 15 miles a day commuting in Manchester. Was much faster and cheaper than a car. I was run over in Sheffield at 30mph by a car that hadn’t seen me (bothered to look). When commuting I would wear padded cycling shorts and a t shirt, then shower in work. Cycling in your work clothes is not possible if you are a professional in Manchester (rain) and sustaining an average speed of above 20mph (sweat). If you are pootling along like a postman then I’m sure it is possible. I miss riding, such an efficient was to exercise but there is no viable way to cycle to my work due to Mersey Tunnel Regulations.
