  1. Yes it’s ideal, I’ll keep my peepers peeled for a spare full sized one. I’m faithful to my 20+ year old AA S410 so it can be for them to grow into 👍 That’s her main issue 🤣🙈🙈🙈
  2. 🤣🤣🤣 She used to be so well trained too, I suppose it happens when you spend too much shooting and not enough time ‘training’ ... likewise I’m not talking about a puppy 🤣 That’s the key I’m waiting for, I hoped she’d be asleep by the time I got home! Normally if I buy a new gun it is second hand so I take an old slip and she’s none the wiser... but this one was in a shiny box🙈 Thank you 😊
  3. Yes, waited for them every day this week. Each day received a text saying it had been unexpectedly delayed. Now coming after Christmas 😕
  4. I paid the extra for the 12ft/lbs .... reasoning that it is better to be hung as a sheep than a lamb 😎
  5. Just home from work, sent the pictures and a video. If you need anything else don’t hesitate to ask 👍
  6. I’m in big trouble with my wife, I sold my ShotKam to fund a mini air rifle for my sons for Christmas. I went to Cheshire Gunroom to pick up the Snowpeak PP750 (pistol with extendable stock that they can use as a rifle). Feeling it in the flesh I just didn’t love it. Didn’t gel with the Kral NP-03 either. I was resigned to leaving empty handed when the salesman suggested looking at the BSA JSR Ultra. What a beautiful miniature gun, I was instantly smitten. My wife is livid with me being so irresponsible with money. Surely the joy I’ll get from seeing them knock down squirrels and magpies is surely worth the marital disharmony?
  7. £450 + P&P Happy for for face to face near Chester.
  8. Unused refurbished iPhone 12 Pro with 12 months PhoneGeek parts warranty (via receipt). 128GB graphite black. https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/FGMN3B/A/Refurbished-iPhone-12-Pro-128GB-Pacific-Blue-SIM-Free Arrived yesterday but I ended up upgrading through work instead.
  9. SOLD Good to meet you @Robden hope you enjoy it, any issues with set up or use just call me and I’ll help as best I can 👍
  10. Sad news, he had a great life no doubt. Loved and lived the life he was born to live.
  11. Apologies I recently offered for sale without location, it was remiss of me but let me realise how easy a mistake it is to make.
  12. Sold, subject to the usual 👍
  13. I like a drink but a lot of our landowners are Welsh Methodists. My wife bakes them an alcohol-free Christmas cakes instead. Home made marzipan then iced. Takes months to prepare soaking the fruit etc. With all the sugar the whisky is probably the healthier choice.
  14. My youngest son asked the same “Daddy what are you wearing on your face?” Sadly it is a sign of our times, protection against getting Ceciled by the ill informed internet hordes.
  15. Sorry! Near Chester, happy for collection etc or postage.
  16. Mark 3 ShotKam, perfect condition - it has been great but I need the cash for the boys’ Christmas presents. Comes boxed with all spares etc. It is the below model from when I bought it, I can send specific photographs of the unit by WhatsApp or may be able to upload them here - my phone camera is currently broken. No marks etc on it. £295 + p&p.
  17. It was a great day, my good friend @worrall26 met me at 0715 hrs and dropped me off at 2200. Plenty of shooting, eating, drinking and laughing. Cold meats, cheese, venison, pig cheeks, orange brandy, countless ports, sloe gin, pale ale, limencello. I shot the fox on a very steep and ice covered bank, I sent her she and she picked it but it was a heavy set dog fox so it was 2 ft forward and 3 ft backwards, I ended up grabbing it myself. My old boy, who died earlier this year, effortlessly retrieved any sized fox but he had much larger jaws and a strong head and neck.
  18. A very good day on the syndicate yesterday, this photograph was taken at 11am!
  19. I have got to decide before the shoot briefing on Saturday what to do. We get low numbers of teal, mallard and woodcock. They are only shot walked up by those guns who will take them themselves to eat them. I am leaning towards imposing the temporary ban out of respect for the quarry, but I’m not sure our small, sustainable harvest has any negative effect overall. I’d rather shoot and eat the birds than see them starve. I shoot a marsh too and suspect that will be closed off due to the message too, but that will allow the birds to settle on feeding available feeding grounds rather than being pursued off them.
  20. WalkedUp

    NHS crisis

Hope your son recovers quickly, fortunate to have such a good wife.
  21. As it is based in my city I listened to a review of it on Front Row, BBC Radio 4 earlier this week. I had to switch station in disgust almost immediately as the woman reviewing almost gleefully announced that it was the ‘most diverse shortlist ever, thankfully with no white men in sight’. I am disgusted by all forms of racism but find this faux inverse racism particularly pernicious.
  22. Done, took a while. Awfully biased survey structure and leading questions. Quite incompetent.
