The problem with FAC air is you have no proof of how much you are actually using it as you don't have ammo entered onto your cert. You could spend more time in the field in one month than some people do in a year but you've got no way of proving it. What is deemed reasonable is down to your FEO. 6, 9, 12 months?... I think your best bet is to spend some time at a club and gain some real experience of rimfires. I don't think a fac air can teach you much more than a 12 ftlbs air rifle....

What do people think of the quality of finish of the AA flapper? Just received mine a couple of weeks ago and it looks like it's been sprayed with a spray can, very poor finish with small areas peeling?...

I take it that you already have your FAC? If so your conditions relate to that specific caliber, not the land!.. So if you already have AOLQ / vermin/ fox ect for .22 rimfire for example that's not going to change.

Looks great! I have a very similar sidelock, mine is a H Vint, you can see in this picture the barrels have been sleeved; Mine is also suffering from poorly woodwork, the end of the stock has been soaked in oil and is disintegrating, I've got a nice walnut stock blank to go on it eventually.
