    Fear of flying

Whats wrong with you lot, flying is the safest mode of transport (if I'm pilot in command then that's a different matter entirely ). You only need to be scared sh****ss if you're in the middle east........its not just the crappy aircraft they use "A landing is good if you can walk away from it"
  2. How does that work if they were sold as "eating" eggs, dont you need a drake

    Killer slugs!

Didn't know snails and slugs could be deadly, although I've never seen a dog eat one before http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8614417.stm

    Axe

Axe: Used for cutting trees Log Splitter: Used for splitting wood Sounds like you're using the wrong instrument
  5. Its a bit more complicated than that, I have split the office into 5 sections, each section has two computers, there is also a networked/central printer which needs connecting up. So I will need to run 11 lengths to the router from the computers/printer, I've done this before but not through this kind of trunking
  6. I have trunking running around my office (power outlets / network / switchboard) how easy would it be to add a couple extra Ethernet sockets? Would it be easier to run the cat5e cable through the trunking then add a separate rj45 box under the trunking? I think its the standard stuff so would you use one of these if I went for the sockets inside the trunking?: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/THREE-COMPARTMENT-DA...=item1c0a5c2a71
  7. Why the hell did you try reporting it, they've done you a favour......
  8. Its got to be true http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/ind...howtopic=120265
  9. If you are declared bankrupt whoever is owed cant really do anything, thats the whole point in declaring yourself bankrupt!! (in other words it writes off all your debts although it will destroy your credit rating) is it a Limited company or personal? Again your mates SGC & FAC will be fine, I doubt bailiffs will be able to touch the guns not that that would happen if you're declared bankrupt. . . . . Of course if he lives in a mansion and has a Ferrari sitting outside that's a different matter

    VAT Registered

It really depends on what you do/sell, if we are talking small amounts (money wise) and you're below the threshold, dont do it. Example - I buy and sell helicopters, I can save 35k in VAT when I buy, when I sell VAT will need to be added which can make my helicopters far more expensive for the personal users. What I do now is sell them abroad (EU) and do an intra-EU transaction (no UK VAT for the buyer). I would suggest you go and get professional advice, as I've said above it all depends on your plans!
  11. I'm with Virgin Media and the speeds are seriously slow and have been for a while. Just had a look at their site: https://national.virginmedia.com/service-an...Id=3&type=F All ISP's use the same network/routes so the above is probably relevant to AOL users as well.
  12. Bored, so took it apart What do you think, outer plastic looks suspicious
  13. Thanks for the replies, I thought it was a fake but there are a few things that have made me question this: 1. Embossed logo 2. Weight (heavy!) 3. Its an automatic winder, wouldn't a fake be a side pin thing winder
  14. I've just been given a Breitling watch, I dont have a clue if its fake or not! The second hand is smooth, logo is embossed.
  15. On a simulator, I was in one not so long ago, think he said it takes 3 years to become fully qualified!
  16. They will ship you a free copy! https://shipit.ubuntu.com/
  17. Bunnings, thats a DIY store, its taken 6 months to interview!?? Good stores though you can buy absolutely everything My brother lives in Brisbane and loves it, me personally though....I cant stand the place!
  18. I would say no, just make sure there aren't any cracks. Mines 8-12" clay lined (multi fuel), just make sure its swept regularly.
  19. Yep back online, cheers.
  20. I'm receiving a 500 error when trying to visit any of the BBC sites, anyone else or is it me?
  21. Thanks for that, I may give it a go when the days get a bit longer! Cheers PS. Came across this, not sure if its quite the right thing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Land-Rover-Disco-2-F...=item45f1d507e1
  22. That is a common prob, had it with my 02 disco and now my 04, my drive also smells like a petrol station. Took mine into the local garage, cost a few hundred quid to replace (complete rip off, its the time it takes to strip down I suppose) hence why I'm putting it off again You may be able to find the part here?: http://www.landroverspares.co.uk/
  23. To find times: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ To book I prefer: http://www.virgintrains.co.uk/ They dont charge booking fees like TheTrainLine and you can pickup from FastTicket machines.
  24. Alcohol will become the next bandwagon (same as smoking), no doubt there will be "Drinking kills" labels plastered all over them soon. They aren't happy until they ban something, which is really what this is all about.
