Totally agree, I just can't understand why he wouldn't give them his name , it set the course which ended in the tasering.i do think it was a bit OTT though .

I remember listening to various "experts" in the last 2 years saying how it's virtually impossible for him to get through , and here we are !

Just discovered this series on Netflix , about a guy who harvests his own meat, halfway through the first episode and he's stalking moose and catching pike! Well worth s watch from what I've seen so far..

I think it was a deliberate ploy to smear the shooting fraternity, knowing that most folk would read and believe - damage being done. He's issued that mealy mouthed retraction but a lot of the damage will have already been done. I'm convinced it was deliberate!!

Yodel have told me they have a signature, but won't share it with me as I'm not the sender!

I brought some rope on eBay, seller despatched with yodel (I should have realised at this point), tracking info then says it's been delivered ! But it hasn't - I chase the seller, he says he will chase yodel , few days later he says he will send another item out. A week later he sends me he same tracking info . I lose patience at this point and open a dispute - eBay have closed it in his favour as he 'provided tracking information' !! I leave negative feedback - eBay then delete this!! I'm appealing this, and the amount is tiny - but if eBay stiff me on this I'm closing my account. I've tried chasing yodel - going round in circles , and the phantom delivery seems to be a speciality of theirs.

He has issued a correction over night , but still bad form. He's suggesting it wasn't him that posted it- but I'm not convinced :

You should have suggested to the police that on this particular day you were identifying as a woman, and on opening the door the gent 'wolf whistled' at you . That should sort it. (I'm jesting before anyone takes offence)

I get forced to attend a party each year held by friends of the wife's . Look forwards to it like a hole in the head.

We've all had it in the last week, half the kids in my lads class are off now, I'm sure I got it worse than the wife too, although she disagrees.

Ah! the string is loose, it's not stretching the bow, I thought the string had just stretched a lot! The bow stays that shape without the string on it? Is it suppose to do that? Does the 26 inches refer to arrow length ?

I know literally nothing about archery, however my Nan has recently given me a bow my late grandad had in the back of a cupboard. I know that it's a recurve bow, think it's from the 70's. anyway, I'm looking for some advice on setting it up again, it will need new string, and some arrows - I would be grateful of some advise as to what sort and length I need! I will post some pics asap. What do the numbers on this mean?

Like I said , each to their own, I'm personally very confident in my plke handling , and understand the importance of swift return in the summer- I've not had a pike go belly up on me yet , and there is some excellent sport to be had. Each to their own, but if handled correctly and brought in without undue battle , I don't think it has any more effect than other species. pike are more susceptible to bad handling because they tend to be the victim of it more often than other fish. I'm quite confident with my pike handling👍

I've been spending what little spare time I've had over the last few weeks pike fishing, (nothing much to shoot!) The vast majority is lure fishing, I just can't seem to sit behind alarms and wait! Had a couple of hours on one of my favourite deserted venues locally, had a fair few pike up to double figures . Went out last night for a couple of hours before dusk, landed 3 pike, this was the biggest - it's head was huge compared to its body which seemed very thin. I would imagine it would be a good fish when it was on form. Not sure if it's spawning related.. It fought like a trooper once hooked, had several bouts of airbone acrobatics before I managed to bank it

It's the other way round I think! euros are generally much cheaper if not free!
