  1. I think it's the bit where poeople who have paid nothing in can also benefit from it 😉
  2. Health tourism, and allowing people who have just arrived to live here have the full services of the NHS for free need addesssing before we should start looking at charging our own. Min 15 years paying tax before you qualify and then 15 more to bring a dependent in (subject to clean health on arrival) should sort it . Anyone who doubts this should pop down to any big city hospital and see for themselves . Edit : that and outlawing first cousin marriage to try and stem the tide of children being born with preventable genetic defects, often fatal or requiring life long intensive health care.
  3. I would pay £5, on the condition doctors and the BMA get behind moves to check patient eligibility for free healthcare rather than bleating 'it's not my job'.
  4. We've got a few, I keep confiscating them and having a go myself. They started out as toys to help kids with ADHD concerntrate apparently.
  5. If you've got a a few weeks time window you'll get the price down a bit , call a few hauliers in the south east and see if any have any empty trailers in the area- there's a few platforms for backloads/return loads that most of them use.
  6. Cheapest route wouldn be curtain trailers , as a guess I would suggest about £700-800 per load, 9ish loads worth.
  7. How do they compare to a black widow ?
  8. The issue is, lots of people will lap it up without giving a second thought to how it will all be paid for.
  9. Worth a punt for 5.95 delivery
  10. I heard one on the 23rd April!, much earlier than last year (17th may). Not seen one close up yet though ...
  11. Homemade prawn stir fry, loaded with fresh chilli, washed down with a couple of G&T's .
  12. I need to as well, I've tried everything , well apart from eating less food and moving more 😂
  13. If I was the parent of a black child growing up in london, I would be insisting the police did more stop and search, the alternative that we have seen played out over the last few years is the needless slaughter with knives, life it seems is very cheap in certain areas.
  14. More enrichment from our friends in the enlarged EU.
  15. Phones would be a pain with charging, an obd tracking device is powered through the obd port, there's loads on the market including software etc
  16. Mine did this a while ago , it would open about 2", repeatedly slamming it shut dislodged the item...
  17. Obd systems are cheap, plug and play jobs - but are easily removed , great because you can swap them over but not so great because drivers can also disconnect easily .
  18. The plus side with leasing is you'll not have to worry about the RV's in 3 years time too
  19. There's no requirement , it will depend on the terms that you agree to at the start - BVRLA is a common standard , but not compulsory, hence my advise to pay close attention to the terms and conditions that you are agreeing to when taking the vehicle.
  20. Completely knackerinf your own car will also cost you, either in repair costs or an absolute hiding on the RV. My first post on this thread I think is crucial if you're going to lease - make sure you get a contract allowing for fair wear and tear (ideally BVRLA standard). Dealerships often do "leasing" with return conditions designed to bum you , but they're easy enough to spot.
  21. Leasing is an efficient way of acquiring use of a new vehicle, fixed monthly cost (presuming you get a maintained deal)- it's a personal decision though - but use a calculator to make that decision! If you want the benefits of a nice new car with fixed costs to renew every two or three years - leasing (in the vast majority of cases) wins hands down .
  22. Just make sure you understand the return conditions, some are "showroom condition", particularly from dealers . Make sure you get fair wear and tear, and ideally a BVRLA member who will use their wear and tear standard.
