  1. I got my photon from him with very good service. Just phone him up
  2. I've got one on my hmr and waiting for one to go on my 22.250 so I like them. Seems some dont though. They need a few tweaks like a doubler, ir torch and I've got a amber filter on the back on mine as it hurt my eyes. So your be looking at £550 once done still cheap I think. One thing I do fined is its a lot slower than lamping but I like the fact no one knows were I am. Hope this is of some help.
  3. Go to nighvisionforum.co.uk all the info you could ever need.

  6. Anyone interested in some free wheat cleanings. Plenty of wheat in it small grains unthrashed tips and chaff in one ton bags. Can be loaded onto your trailer for free yes that's free. Near Cambridge
  7. Funny that I went out with mine last night it was near freezing and it didn't work nearly as good as it had when warmer. Seemed short of light to me. Only used it for five nights thought something had gone wrong with it will try it again tomorrow.
  8. If its was near conington on a14 it's charlock, I farm next door to it
  9. Seems I must of got a good one if they are any difference. I put the doubler and extra ir on before I'd even turned it on so can't comment what it was like as standard, I can see further than I can shoot with my hmr and won't hesitate to put it on my 22.250. It's the first nv I've looked through so don't really know what else is out there but I couldn't fine anything to match the photon money even with the extras
  10. It was just up the road from me. They got there info wrong as where they turned up they weren't shooting but they were next door. So they just turned some feeders over. Most of them where students which just rock up to be a pain in the **** and a few trouble makers. The shoots were small farmers shoots, I would of thought they would go for a larger commercial shoot or maybe even sandringham.
  11. I've got mine on my hmr. To get the best out of it I have fitted a doubler and better ir cost and extra £140. As for 150yrd rabbits I don't know, you can see them but I just drive up closer saves missing.
  12. Wanting to build a spotter to use along side my photon. Can anyone recommend a lens to go with a ej230 and how do you couple the together. Cheers john

  17. I look after a farm and it gets right on my tits people who think its ok to go and do what ever they like. What gets me are the ones who start fing and blinding at me for asking them to keep to footpaths. When I started where iam now we had margins round all the fields for wildlife 2 years later we have none as people just take the **** thinking they are there for their benifit. If its not yours keep to the footpaths.
