Chard
Not heard any news from Suffick or Essex, but there's been a few up here during onshore blows and I believe one or two in Kent. I'm talking off the beach here. There are a fair few in the boats.
Cranfield
A few early fish showing off the beaches in Kent and they have been catching them offshore all Summer. Its still a bit early for them to be here in any numbers. Last Winter was the best show of cod on the Kent coast for many years, hopefully it will be even better this year. Whitebridges
Clicky here for a recent (26/9) Orford narrows report Pav. Lot's of whiting on that trip but there have been a few codling. The boats out of Orford are getting a few. I heard of several in the 7lb class. John Rawle (of Cox and Rawle fame) was interviewed on Talksport radio's "Fishermans Blues" last Saturday and they had been getting a lot of cod from his Essex based boat. He thinks this year will be a bumper year on the east coast , so it may well be worth a splodge (cast) or two as the fish work their way up through Suffolk and in to Norfolk. Cannon
Just four weeks back I caught a 6lb cod about 400 yards out from the shore in Ardglass. (Norn Iron) It went for a candlebar type lure on the bed. Only one I've caught so far this year, but I've about 30 or so mackerel under me belt

kdubya
I know its about as much use to you as a chocolate fireguard but plenty of double figure fish coming to the boat lads at present up here, season is well late KW
AndrewT
Check out www.leader-lines.com & look at shore catch reports. Weather's been too mild & sea temperature too warm inshore I believe. Should be good in a few weeks & let's hope for another season like last year! celtic invader
Started to show in the Bristol Channel off the Cardiff coast. A few caught off the Gower around Langland and back into Swansea bay but nothing off the shore yet.
