ROBLATCH Posted September 29, 2009 Report Share Posted September 29, 2009 (edited) again the liblacons are trying their best to put every thing and every body under pressure, if its not shooting,hunting and fishing its anything that springs to mind with them. immagine having a child that suffers eppilepsy and having to travel nearly 30 miles to (without aid) your local a&e ? or being a farmer etc and having to travel upto 60 miles to your so called local a &e in the event of an accident. what chance do we stand ? i would say rather slim. please help us and sign this petition because as slim as it is it may have the slightests glimmer of hope in saving our hospital. The thing is Rob, everyone knew what would happen when the new place was built, its a guaranteed thing, spend some money then cut back so it looks like they're saving money and then the bullsh*t that follows tells us that Durham or Darlo hospitals are better equiped. I live in Wolsingham which is some 12 miles from me, but there are people as far up the dale as Cowshill which is 18 miles further on, any urgent care for them will entail one hell of an ambulance ride to Durham or Darlo with the distinct possibility of them not arriving alive.
