markm
Still not sure of the details (other than here) but what a shame at this time of year, especially when he was trying to help with another incident. He is only in his 30's and works in the same place as my mrs. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/6798507/Cl...in-Glencoe.html Edited December 14, 2009 by markm

Blackpowder
That is more than tragic going to help someone in difficulty and losing your own life through attempting. My thoughts are with his family and also especially his two climbing mates. Blackpowder

Joe99
Sad that doing the right thing cost him his life. The other two deserve plaudits for continuing to help after seeing that happen.
Lord Geordie
Tis a sad sad incident and shows the courage of some people. Even after their friend fell to his Death the other two continued to rescue the other chap and try to save their companion.
