MC
Yes Auntie, please do that, otherwise it'll be a "skeet in the trees" shoot which nobody wants. Apart from one of those Northern E ffing Students..!! I've averaged 93.33333 over the last 3 PW 100 birders, I don't want to shoot another one at Hodnet, 88 or 89 should be good enough. Cat. How have you done that after a 48 at High Lodge? You must have shot a couple of 116's at the other shoots. Only Evil Elvis does things like that. Nicky T
Popped into Worsley at lunchtime today for a quick round with some old chums; some very testing stuff down there for a change including a side on teal (stand 12) and a distant fast looper (stand 14) as well as several stands that only gave you a very short window in which to react and shoot the clay Finished on an 86/100 so not too shabby. Not too shabby at all,Today i ventured to a shoot I have never tried before and what a pleasant suprise it was. Crabtree Farm, at a place called Lupton just off the M6, near Kirby Lonsdale. It's run by a chap called Edward Whiteman and a throughly pleasant man to boot. 10 testing sporting stands and a compact layout in a delightful setting. He says when lambings finished he will extend it to 15 stands.Only drawback I could see was it was the dreaded fibre wad and its only open Wed 12 tii 9, and Sat 11 till 3. but if anyone from the Manchester area fancys a differant Sat in a lovely area with good company then you could be pleasently suprised like I was. From Auntie.Oh and i shot a 74 ex 100. Bigweed
Criminal setup at 100 bird registered at Caterham today - couple of the birds were as tough as the "x Birds" at the Ambassador Fitasc shoot on Friday. AA scores when i left were 73, 62, 61 and A scores 73, 72, 72. I finished on 57/100 - second in B class - into C next time around i think. Never seen so many grown men cry !!! Markio
Shocking day for me, 25/50. Two stands with 2 a piece, head wasn't the right place as well as my barrels!
ME
Went out on a heavy one last night and felt rather jaded today. Went to GayJays with the Mafia. Have I ever said that I hate JJ's ? :( Ended up splitting from the group with Mung and doing a quick round with good course management from Mungler. I got 66/84 with some silly misses. Chard
We went to the registered at Shugborough today I shot like a **** :( I'm getting worse at that ground, the more I go. Anni shot a brilliant round with Magman's Remi 1100 (I can see another change of gun coming here) He should be in the B Class money, though somebody put in an 85 or 88 :( Timps shot pretty well, considering he's been off the circuit for a while. Magman shot OK, but I've seen him do better, some very good shooting from Maglad too Did I mention that I shot like a ****? Very depressing, don't know what the matter was today Scores on the ******* doors : Anni - 82 Great stuff, chap Magman - 73 He reckoned it was 74, but they didn't Chard - 68 **** off you bellend **** Timps - 67 Steady Eddie. Decent score after a bit of a break from shooting. Maglad - 42 Shot quite a few stands really well, deserved better. I found it a tough course, Anni clearly didn't Well shot that man :o Saw Ron there too, had a bit of a chat. It seems he started well, but had a poor finish, not sure what his score was. Don't think he's proper fit after his op yet, he says he needs a bit more treatment, I think he was very knackered today. Good luck with that Ron :o Edited March 7, 2010 by Chard
