Well done Scott , i no what you mean about the wind today :D

Took the lad to shugborough, shot in the wind and showers :(

Magboy shot an 55

Magman shot an 85 and was winning B class when we left :( also would of been joint first in A class :P

There's always one stand that ******* it up , dropped all of the first birds on it and jko was behind me when i was shooting it . I'm sure he can move those clays with his mind :P

Seen Claybuster and jko there but don't no how they got on ?? sure they will be along later .

Well done Magman & Magboy that was good shooting in the conditions today. I missed 2 teal in that hail storm but was going great guns until the last 3 stands and then missed 6 to finish on 87. I think 92 Bret Hand would have won it as Mark Winsor did a 90. I thought it was a very good shoot today as Brian had changed a lot of the stands around.

Keep it up Magboy I am sure you will be giving dad a run for his money soon.

Regards K :lol::lol:

Thanks Klaybuster

I enjoy a tough shoot but I think we have had a run of tough shooting lately :D Llandegla was tough but enjoyable the first time but not as much the second time. I think we got it into are heads they would ease off abit but it was tougher in my opinion, even though I equaled my last score there.

The scores from worsley tell there own story I think, not many were handed in at the end :P

Will be glad to hear your opinion on the Essex Masters as I have no idea what to expect. Although I have shot a dyson lay out before. Looking forword to it anyway :P allways good to shoot a new ground.

Reminds me of the time I shot in the Beijing Olympics. I rocked up in my Fiat Punto Turbo and chucked the keys to this gook and said "park that Chung Ching"

and I was behind these two geezers, Faulds and Digweed, all the gear and no idea, expensive guns, tarty skeet vests with Great Britain on them - laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarf. Silly sunglasses and hats, you know the type.

Well they had a go - laaarf, dropping them right left and centre. I said move aside you ******* amateurs and let the maaaaster show you how it's done. They said "Excuse me you roughneck, have you got letters after your name, like what we have?" I said, yeah I'm an MBE too - "Mossberg Baikal Escort"

Anyway, I proceeded to turn the clays inside aaaaaaaart. That showed 'em :D

I could have got first prize, but I had to get on the rape stubble. Know wha' I mean?

Gun snobs - I hate 'em

Went to Northampton Shooting Ground today and put in a 76. Cracking ground with some testing targets and a very enjoyable round with Arnie Palmer, Les Shirley (I think) and a couple of other chaps who had both shot Kegworth and Kibworth earlier today with Arnie. Bit of an eye opener as they were all in the 90's or near as damn it :D

hope you listened to what he has to say as no doubt he gave you some good words on the way round.

hes prob forgotten more than most know. :D:lol:

They were all good company to shoot with actually. Another lesson in how important concentration is today; Arnie averaged 94 today across the three shoots including a staggering 99

A shocking 57 from me at Catton

57 Also from Yellow Bear which was a PB for him at Catton :good:

A strong turn out at Catton today Iam pleased to say, also good news they have rejoined the CPSA and will be holding registered shoots from June.
