Mr Potter
Well shot Magboy, keep it up Rob, you've got the being beaten by the boy to come I've had it for years now, it's a peculiar sensation really a mixture of parental pride and being gutted but a sneaky trip or a load of bad advise (that bird needs hardly any lead, make sure you shoot well above that teal) will reduce the occurrences for a year or two As whiskymac said had a good day at Shugborough, weather was near perfect for me, warm without being too hot, hardly any wind and dry Shot an 89 and I thought it was quite a tricky shoot and some different targets, well they were new to me. Still not enough to take the A class pot, there was a 91 in when I left, that's twice in a month I've shot an 89 and not won God knows when I'll have enough for that new kidney Only problem was whilst steaming back home to wallow in the yearly adulation that is Fathers Day got caught up in a monster of a traffic jam on the M6 northbound, plod had shut the motorway between J16 & 17 so when I eventually got off I had to find a way through the backroads that were choked with all the other diverted traffic, journey that should have taken 1.25 hours took over 3 hours Chard down South, Chard shooting Sarfdarnn, I predict a defection. Although he's never really sounded right for a Manchester lad I for one would miss him and think we should form a small raiding party to snatch him back, any volunteers??? Hey Ho, not long till next weekend Mr Potter

Raja Clavata
ME, I didn't fall for it the first time (several months ago) so you can't really blame Bagsy. I take it it's a spoiling tactic (which worked)!? Enjoyed it today chaps thanks Raja

Thanks whiskymac but lets not get ahead of ourselves here first, and most important things first, what do we want on the sandwiches?? You can't go on these dangerous search & rescue type missions if half way down the M6 you find out your expected to put your life on the line with nothing more than a tuna and cucumber sarnie on toastie white bread  This strikes me as definitely a chiabata with a poached salmon filling type operation with perhaps a celebratory four cheeses and sweet red onion chutney panini on the way back with Chard still hooded prior to his re-programming. One other small thing whiskymac, we have hardly been overwhelmed with volunteers for this admittedly dangerous mission Where's his chauffeur Anni or Timps, his personal trainer beretta?? This has got conspiracy written all over it, I think we need to to back track a bit on this. I'm getting a bit concerned about that black Volkswagen thats been parked outside my house since midnight and I've never had that sort of wavy line interference on the television before. So if Chard wants to cross over to the other side I think we perhaps should reluctantly let him go :o B) He just needs to know that there is no coming back with his new found poncey pink ways, he will have made his futon now he can lie on it. tosspot
Folks, if you wish to launch a Northern raiding party to return one of your lost souls, I would like to say you will encounter no resistance in fact possibly even receive assistance from this end. Anni
He's probably been topping up his Cockaneese accent. I've known him a couple of years now and still have no clue what he's going on about He says Fak alot when he's on the clays "Fa Faks sake"........No clue what that means

Not sure where I got that from Nice round at Sarfdarn and a bit of skeet and DTL too I managed an 80, Tosspot 79 and his old chap 78 or thereabouts. Tosspot's mate had a baptism of fire, with his first proper go on the clays after a "have a go" session the other day. We managed to bully him up to a respectable 22 after keeping nagging him to double the lead on everything. I don't think he could believe how far he needed to get in front of some of that stuff. Not bad considering we were mooning about shooting stuff as simos which wasn't supposed to be. Weather was cracking, as it always seems to be darn Sarf. Tosspot and his old chap shot the skeet and DTL with .410 Mossberg pumps which was novel, especially when the cartridge cases started melting in the barrel  Lot of driving. Yesterday was Herne Bay - Wimbledon - Southdown - Wimbledon - Manchester  Had a ******* flat tyre on the M40 near Oxford on the way back. ******* ******. To make it worse, it took me ages to get the ******* wheel off, it was jammed on. Managed to rip and batter it off in the end, but managed to pull the car off the ******* jack in the process Good weekend, apart from the wheel My wife and son enjoyed Wimbledon and managed to see Roddick do the biz 'Ave a ******* banana,
tosspot
Good to see you too chap, nice to see you truly comfortable back on good old chalky soil not the slag heap mush you've become accustomed to treading of late The layout was better than your last visit although still not reg spec but testing enough Well shot, you have conquered all that sky it would appear, roll on your next visit, i'm sure the lure of Brighton in striking distance could tempt Anni next time

DSPUK
Hodnet tonight doing a bit of skeet -- Kick my **s -- 25 on first round and 22 on second - missed high peg 2 - high peg 3 and horror of horrors the high dustbin lid on peg 7 - Grrrrrrrrr! -- Still even the skeet at hodnet is different - neither english or anything else - much faster than English and bad background so all in all pleased with the night.
