I enjoyed a change at Leadbrook Hall, You can start calling me Harry now, Harry Ramsdens I think every break was chippy, bloody fibre wads !

Some interesting birds considering the ground they have to play with.

All the staff and helpers very friendly and great views over the water with the steam train going past..

Iam not 100% sure of my score but I would guess around the low 60's had one of those days were I strighted a good few stand and made a mess of way to many but I will certainly be giving it another go. :good:

Nice to see Paul223 again and Mag & Boy, must actualy try and go around em next time DOH !

Salopian at Kingsley Moor - did someone pay his entry fee :good:

Did local club shoot then went to a charity shoot - £25 for 50 bird but it did include cartridges - Game Bore Blue Diamond fibre -- must say I was impressed with them -- wasn't a hard shoot and dropped 4 easy birds for a 46 - 47 was HG - as it was a charity shoot I wasn't expecting any prizes except perhaps HG but a chap came out and handed me two bottles of Bell's -- Litre ones at that so was well chuffed.

I managed a 42ex50 at burntkettle on sunday so was delighted.

I only started clays in january and my previous scores had been

a 24, 34 and a 26.

Hopefully onwards and upwards.

Well shot John! just stick at it and enjoy

Final round annoyed me, was shooting in my Musto jacket in the 3rd and lifted my head off the stock and got smacked in the face :good:

Bigweed, i reckon the ton is a way off yet but need to get down to Dartford and shoot with you :good: PM me if you are around in the next couple of weeks during the day.

If i can put in a 25 or 50 straight at the open i'll be extatic, aiming for 90+ but we shall see, just going to enjoy the experience as it's only my first year shooting.

I reckon C class will go to a 96\97\98.

Jon.

Have you done a frantic friday @ dartford?

Shot an impressive 0/49 today at Manby Gun Club near Sloothby, Lincolnshire today.

Actually that's not strictly true, because my father-in-law-elect kindly insisted that I just clipped one of them. :good:

As soon as my ears stop ringing and my clavicord has healed, I shall be back to frighten 51 more.

Note to editors:- Lord Seagrave is nearly thirty and shot a shotgun for the first time today (a lovely 12-gauge, about as old as he is). He was totally outclassed by Big Alec (83) who nonchalently shot 1/1 when showing him how it was done, and father-in-law-elect Tony (57) who shot 1/4 when having a bit of a play after Lord Seagrave cried off with a sore shoulder.

Lady Seagrave is administering gin and sympathy in between fits of giggles.

Went to Worsley today only shot 25 myself but the reason I went is my 11 year old son has now got the shooting bug.:blush:

It’s the 4th time he has been in the last 4 weeks. He has never shot before and he can now consistently hit all the clays on the practice & tuition stands.

Also got him hitting a few on the compact sporting and 4 of the main stands. He is even hitting flying rabbits and no birds.......

Anyone want to buy a Beretta 20 bore before he starts beating me (in about 2 weeks time at the rate he is going).... I’ll show him the little ***.:lol::lol::oops::oops:
