MM
its gotta be fairly big tho hasnt it? you might be thinking about storing shotgun cartridges, but there is different rules for rilfe ammo. these safes can fit about 1500-2000 rounds in. I get more than that in the locking top of my brattonsound, thats 10 boxes of HMR which is pretty compact and the LR is even smaller. Beretta28g
i just use an old jewelers safe, 8''x10''x8'' the walls are near 2'' thick, so its ok, its just that from the picture those safes look very small.

CZ550Kevlar
Argos in the new atalogue do a huge safe, 50cm tall and 30cm wide and 30cm deep if memory serves and about £40 so tons of ammo room, Screwfix and Toolstation sell them on specials quite often. HDAV
http://cpc.farnell.com/jsp/level5/module.j...=cpc/434006.xml is about the cheapest i have seen it is small but if you don't hold a lot should be enough. or http://cpc.farnell.com/defender-security/d...0?Ntt=SR0672910 for a bit larger CPC is only worth ordering from if you order regularly IMO as shipping etc pushes the price up
