Ozzy Fudd
only real experience of rugers is a 10/22, off the shelf model but with one or two small changes, would never get rid of it, it gets more use than the hmr Edited July 2, 2010 by Ozzy Fudd

mikee
ive got a ruger M77 mk2 in .243, absolutely fantastic gun, 1:9 twist so good with 100gn bullets, reliable controlled feed mauser style action, 3 position safety, floor plate mag, ive shot a good few other rifles and haven't found one i'd swap it for yet. Harnser has a ruger m77 in 308, not sure if its a mk2 or not and he swears by it mikee
Harnser
Yes I do indeed have a m77 light weight scout in .308 and it is as accurate as any rifle that I have owned and I have owned a few over the years . The most innovative part of this rifle is that it has the safty catch on the top tang (same as a shotgun ) this really is much better than any other rifle safty catch . I am able to shoot MOA at 100 yards with it all day long using 150 grain bullets . I am a fan of them and highly reccomend them . Harrser . Paddy Galore!
I've seen a few come through my mates shop and i do like the b/a rifles, seem well put together and not overly expensive. Good value IMHO.

hendersons
It would be a centre fire possibly two of them.I think it is a m77 hawkeye but i'm not sure. I just thought they seemed quite good value and the guy in the shop reccomended it, but i'm always a little sceptical of what somebody who is trying to sell me something says. nick Edited July 3, 2010 by hendersons

Nice and lightweight and very reliable. They're cheap and cheerful, so if that's what you're after, I'd go for it.

marky123
Maybe its you and not the rifle Les Maybe.Best I can do is 2/3" at 75m with 5 types of ammo.I've had a go on the trigger, its better, the scope rings are aligned incorrectly however I've mounted them and I've bedded it.Does feed and extract very well though.
