Grimescar-keeper
Up at 8, walked all the dogs round th fields for half an hour, cooked breakfast then off to the Beagles, got to the pub for 1030 and met up with some old friends. Hunt set off about lunch time and me and my brother went to our shoot. Had a good walk round and shot a squirel. As we were about to pack up i decided to tap a copse through while my brother stood at the end. Good idea as he shot his first ever pheasant. Packed up shotguns and spent an hour with the air rifle. A cracking day with excellent company. Lets hear everyones storys. Chris

Nildes
Two Ducks and a Pigeon. Oh and an earfull of snow. It was bitter cold in the wind. I was pleased with the pigeon, a high bird. All in the freezer now, ready for a game pie.

M ROBSON
I was out on the foreshore on Boxing day morning, the geese slipped too far to the side of me but I did managed a Mallard and a Wigeon so it wasn't totally fruitless. Frank
Spent the day nursing a DEADLY hangover, so did not get out. Was out this morning with mate and his .243 for deer, did not see a thing, it was -8 here last night, it was like walking on cornflakes, too frosty, deer had better ideas.!! Out again in a day or 2, will post results.
