apache
Henry hoovers are fantastic. My gf insisted on a Dyson and it's carp. The only thing that beats a Henry is the Pneumatic industrial version from the same family. You have to beware of their bad habits: (I tried to embed the vid, but couldn't)

libs
We have two, one in the garage that eats swarf, sawdust, fillings and all sorts of off cuts. Thats got a good few years on me and it still runs fine. And another that lives in the house tucked away for building work and doing the cars with. The only reason the dyson comes out is becuase its spinny-head-device thing gets dog fur out of rugs very well. They are both left overs from my grandparents publican days which were 20+ years ago so I figure they have been going that long at least! Dibs
Just dont buy a secondhand one - you dont know where its been, see Sun article below: Worker Caught Having SEX with Henry Hoover -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Polish worker has come up with an unusual excuse after being caught in the act with a vacuum cleaner. When later questioned by his employers, the man said he was vacuuming his underpants, which was "a common practice in Poland". He has since been fired. The man's employers, HG Construction, told The Sun: "That behaviour is not acceptable, though it gave a few people a laugh".
njc110381
We've got a Henry, he's great! Apart from sucking up everything that will fit up the pipe including large stones it's also got a very mellow motor. You know how most vacuums sound like a jet taking off (that sound has me climbing the walls if I'm trying to relax)?! Well Henry makes a more low pitched sound, far less annoying when the mrs fires it up at silly o'clock on sunday morning! They're the best vacuum going IMO. Dave-G
Commoners the lot of you. These are "Hoover" vacuum cleaners: http://www.hoover.co.uk/products/1/vacuum-cleaners/ These are "Numatic" vacuum cleaners: http://www.henryvac.co.uk/ Hoover is a brand name - not a type of product. Now where's my tin hat gone?
