Evil Elvis
Ok, Im going to give in and buy a twirler, i had a great days shooting the other day (133) but there were a lot of birds flying wide that didnt come into the deeks, I had 2 patterns out and felt that a twirler in the middle may have helped. So what do you guys recommend?
malkiserow
If weight is NOT an issue, get an Andy Moss one £60 all in delivered all you will need is a charger I currently use an Ultralight from UKShootwhorehouse which is good although I am a bit wary about some of the fine grubsrews used to hold various bits together. That said, it is much lighter than the Andy Moss one. I guess that if you look after the UKSW one they will both last a long time. The AM one is built like a Russian tank and will probably go on longer than a PW thread on hot-women-in-camo! Fisherman Mike
Save your money.....133 ? most on here would die for a bag like that. Why do you feel you have to shoot every bird in the air are you inadequate in some way ??
chrispti
I had a good day a few weeks ago, shot 211, started off with only a magnet and 10 shells, then adding the shot birds to build up the pattern. I always take mine with me, but not always use it

motty
I've had the basic shootwarehouse magnet for about 5 years now. It's still going strong and i've killed thousands of pigeons using it. It cost me £50. Trust me, the more expensive pinewood ones are no better at pulling birds. By the way EE, it doesn't matter what you've got in the pattern, not every bird will come into your decoys. If they did, i'd be posting about 500 bird days not just 100 like normal. stealthlyninja
I use the one from the UKSW with hypaflaps. Very good piece of kit. Shop around if money is tight. My old man bought one the other day for £60. Hypaflaps from the UKSW are excellent, but I always change to real birds as soon as.
