Bobba
Advice please. I was thinking of downloading crow calls on to an MP3 player and with mini speakers using it among decoys. The problem is that the downloads available are very short in terms of seconds of play. OK on Windows media player when on repeat function but when transfrered to mp3 the repeat function doesn't transfer. Has anyone any idea please of how these short down loads can be stitched together to make a longer series of calls? Indeed, has anyone done this idea before and can offer help? It will avoid my having to re-invent the wheel. Many thanks Bob

Paddy Galore!
A nice idea if it were legal, i don't think leccy callers are allowed to be used on birds, even crows Edited October 23, 2010 by GRAM71
woodcock1
Maybe Bobba is shooting with an cannon eos or similar? As far as I know it is illegal to call birds using electronics for the purpose of shooting them.
utectok
More fun to learn how to call by hand and legal primus power call is a good start or sam neyt call

CZ550Kevlar
Go oldschool with callers for shooting, adds a sporting skill element into the mix, using electronic callers mimic the calls very closely working a high percentage of the time and with no effort. Way more satisfying and rewarding calling a crow the proper way, even if it only works once in a while you will feel very chuffed i assure you. Bobba
Thank you one and all for the comments, especially on the legality of the matter. forwarned is forarmed. Henry D said Well if I were you I would not do it as you will be breaking the law and dragging us all down with you, so thanks a lot. I think your advice was well intended Henry, and I will, take it to heart. But for you to presume I would do so in the light of your advice and then add a judgemental and bitchy comment about dragging people down etc is a little ungraceful. I merely asked because I already have an ACME crow caller but I sound more like Daffy Duck - guesse i'll have to try harder ( as it always said on my school reports!) steve_b_wales
More fun to learn how to call by hand and legal primus power call is a good start or sam neyt call Get yourself a Primos Power Crow call at around £10. They are brilliant, once you learn how to use them. I have had many successful days using one. The ACME caller is more suitable for Jackdaw's, although, I can mimic these as well with my Primos. jfgpm
using my reply to your quote, it makes no sense at all  You just wanted to tell them, that they should write here that they are just taking pictures while "hunting" with the U Caller. I thought you were criticising that they use it in general. So I posted some advantages you have while taking pictures.
