kyska
I've had it happen a few times, but they weren't buzzards, some other prey bird. That guy has some great you tube vids.

Clamps
I have had something similar happen - not to a live one, they have jumped my plastic decoys before - they swoop in so quitly, sometimes scare the **** out of me

besty57
same sort of thing happened to me yesterday ,up on the scottish border. brown bird of prey came down to the patten twice then flew off. i had 4 dead pigeons out .and 10 deeks.not sure what it was tho.looking in my book the only 1 that looks like it is an adult goshawk, whitch it says , and i quote (that a worn adult looks very brown alan
deputy dog
Had a similar experience while out crow shooting with a fellow memeber of this forum. We set out our crow decoys one frosty morning last December and while getting back into the hide ready for the black stuff to come in i seen a Buzzard swoop down low and take a decoy up in its talons. It carried it a few meters an then dropped it back down, must have clicked it wasn't the breakfast he had hoped for lol. And we have a resident Sparrow Hawk which can be seen once in a while taking small song birds from around our back gardens. Been unluck enough to catch him on Video, but as soon as i do, i will post it on this forum. DD
Cannon
Seen 6 Buzzards on Monday just passed there. Seem to be becoming a more frequent sight in Northern Ireland. Huntersvermin has some cracking videos. Well worth a watch
